  • i looked at your food log. i wish i could eat clean and light like you!.... maybe i enjoy food way too much.. which is bad! you can add some nuts/seeds to your salad, since i see that you eat salad for lunch a lot! those are healthy and will up your calories easily!
  • i need to stay motivated too.. my problem is eating way too much and loving food too much.. sigh.. sometimes i have to force myself to exercise.. but i feel like watching what you eat (and the amount) is more important than exercising! exercise doesn't really help me. i just do it because i feel like i have to.

  • i saw a recipe and made an avocado pasta salad, it's really yummy.. just mash the avocado and mix it with cooked pasta.. add some lemon juice, olive oil and pepper. it's really good and healthy. however, the only thing i hate is that avocado doesn't last long.. they ripe so fast and can't store in the fridge for long

  • i saw this recipe on a blog and made it! i think i need to add more oats because i didn't fill me up! but you can play around and add different fruits/nuts. i also added some plain yogurt or greek yogurt!
  • Chia seeds - can use it like flaxseeds.. add to your oatmeal, yogurt, etc Quinoa - use it in place of rice/pasta coconut oil - hmm.. i just know you can use it on your skin.. for cooking, maybe substitute with your regular cooking oil? sprinkle some in your salad?
  • nuts are great.. you just need to eat so little but they are packed with nutrients and calories, which you are looking for! :)

  • i read online that anything with cream base, cheese, milk that kind of thing don't freeze well.. also i made some asparagus and freeze them.. they feel soggy ..
  • hi i wouldn't name myself vegetarian but i'm not a big fan of meat! i think they kind of smell... lol :) but i eat egg and drink milk and cheese and yogurt! and i don't mind fish but they were done right :)

  • welcome! i'm from BC too.. still in BC! :) i have the same problem.. fairly skinny but gained some "baby fat" in my tummy in recent years.. i eat quite a bit but thanks to my genes that i don't gain tons of weight.. but still working to keep it healthy and lose some tummy fat as i get older now and metabolism is lower :(

  • hmm i would pick lightly active. you are on your feet most of the time, but it doesnt really pump your heart rate... i would be more conservative then overestimate :) good luck!

  • i used to weight every sunday morning to be consistent but haven't been doing so.. just weighing myself about 2 times a week in the morning. i do log it when i weight.. mfp just automatically posts the info when the # is less than previous.. i recently removed it because i find it quite annoying. it's just for my records…
  • i'm pretty much the same too..... it's like i'm another person at night! well i have been going to bed early so my "binging" is during my dinner now.. i eat my dinner then i grab one thing after another.. just like last night.. some nights are better.. need tips too plsss!!!
  • sleep is more important if i have to pick between the two! you need to have enough sleep to exercise anyway.. you need energy for that!
