thanks! i always had my MFP set at 1/2 lb a week...but i always go over the calories.. i know i've been bad snacking junk food.. i was thinking maybe have a protein shake which is about 100 calories after dinner would help.. i'm gonna try this tonight.. i tried eating fruits but it's just not the same!! :X

i'm 5'3 and weight 115 lbs on average.. (more at night i think)... i have fairly small bones and had always been petite when i was younger.. now that i'm 30 i've got a big belly and bigger hip.. i just want to lose few lbs and get rid of my problem areas... i think i eat a lot for my size.. sometimes i feel ashamed.. :(

low calories like 800 per day is crazy! no one should be doing this.. i have never seen anyone doing it.. oh well.. it's really up to someone's will how much they eat~~

glad to hear that you are feeling better.. yes in my first two sessions, we just talked about my background.. family etc.. guess usually it's depression or other kinds of emotions that lead to overeating.. i'm also trying hard on my own.. thanks for sharing!! good luck!

i checked my BF% this weekend and the calories i got ended up to be similar to what i got.. around 1800.. so should i set my cal to 1800 from now and see what happens? that will make me less guilty as i always eat more than what MFP sets me..

wow i tried the site and it gives me almost 2000 calories, while MFP only allows me 1500 exercise calories included. big difference! but i've been eating over calories on most days anyway.. since i get hungry or i like to snack...

the yoga classes i go to are taught by different teachers so they are different in their own way... even same teacher could teach differently on different days.. i never practise on my own.. i think it's more fun and more encouraging to practise as a group! especially if the group has similar level as you. and also my…

thanks everyone! i have been sick so havent been doing as much exercise as i want to. i should eat more fruits for snacks, instead of fattening snacks.. but fattening snacks are more satisfying for sure.. i need to try harder!!!! hope i can do it............

i do hot yoga and power yoga regularly.. they are totally different and i love both.

i dont have any religious belief.. but i do feel yoga is a form of meditation.. i get really focus and concentrated (most of the time) when practising,... i think it helps calm my mind.

i heard it's best to sleep on your back, but i would make put a pillow underneath my knees, it's better for your low back.. also make sure the pillow you sleep on has good neck suppoer (my chiro recently reminded me)!!! i sleep on my back now too..

oh ya! i weight few lbs different from day to night! with the food intake during the whole day, water, etc.. depends if you've gone #2 too!! nothing to worry about.. just weight yourself consistantly, ie.. every friday morning.. then should be ok.

i heard that poeple always lose more at the beginning.. how that you start exercising, it'll actually firm your body.. and build some muscles which is great.. sometimes the number on the scale is not that important, as long as you feel you are leaner and healthier.. and 2 lbs/week.. i'm jealous!!!!!

im obsessed with food too.. i binge at night, trying to get rid of this habit.. really hard.. i love eating and it makes me happy.. i am going to see a counsellor and psychologist next week so hope it can give me some help.. create a healthier relationship with food.. good luck everyone!!!!

same here.. i eat pretty healthy (or at least i try) but i eat a lot! and i like eating.. so calories restriction is hard.. and i feel like i'm hungry all the time~~ :(
