This might be a dumb question, but how does the hrm know how many calories we burn? I just got a new one, with a chest strap, and it said I burned 1256 by jogging four miles at only 6mph and a half hour of strength training. Thats way more than even mfp would credit that. Wear leggings under your workout gear... Especialy baggy sweats and don't workout or go on long walks in shorts. If your skin is covered by cloth and doesnt rub against itself it won't happen. :)

Being healthy and fit will only benifit u and your baby when it comes to having a healthy pregnancy and successful labor. Also, the healthier u are going in, the easier it will be to lose weight after the baby is born. Good luck!

Thanks for all of the replies and the web link refferals. I didn't even know what BMR meant. So it looks like mine is 2414. Which means, if I want to continue to lose about 2 lbs a.week, anf NOT cut out exercize or sports (haha), I need to make sure my NET calories are 1414 each day... Is thay correct?
