Much of the breast is fat tissue. Some women lose this fat earlier in their weight loss journey, while others lose it later. But yes, regardless of when you lose it, you will lose fat in your breasts as your overall body fat percentage goes down. With very rare exceptions, there is no such thing as a DD or larger with…

Considering the majority of the people in the US don't walk more than half a mile in a day from their Barco-lounger to their fridge for another coke and bag of chips and back, of course not! I don't run, I speed walk. I'm currently pacing at 13 minutes a mile and maintain that for five miles. On longer walks I scale back…

I'm in Florida as well. I run outdoors, too hot and stagnant indoors, plus my gym requests no more than 30 minutes on the treadmills unless there is no one waiting. (Ie an empty treadmill). I get up early and am out the door before the sun comes up in the cool, clean morning air. As far as foot pain, I can't stress this…

I would have had a glass of wine with dinner. Then get up and do five miles in the morning, as usual.
-
Sure it does. Your glass of wine (if it's red) has antioxidants. That's just one example.
-
What point did I miss? Am I wrong saying that there are far healthier options with the same macros?
-
I don't give a hoot if people want to eat them, but I find it crazy that people are acting like they are a healthy addition to food intake.
-
That sounds about right.
-
Per serving, yes. It's not just the fat, it's the other crap--like preservatives-- that they put in those. There's a reason they have a long shelf life.

Nice reply. On the days I strength train I up my protein levels. On the days I do cardio I have more carbs in my diet. I don't cross train as it aggravates my asthma.

My arms and calves have increased in size. My waist and hips have decreased in size.

Not being disgusting is subjective. I can think of a lot healthier options with a lot less fat and far healthier ingredients. Most of which would require actually spending some time baking. One thing that comes to mind is a Tuscan bread made with olive oil and whole grains. I also have a cinnamon applesauce bread I make…

I agree. I'll add that I'd rather have something worth eating, like home made gingerbread. :)

Maybe you need to reread. I am GAINING arm and calf muscle. The measuring tape doesn't lie. At the same time, I am losing belly fat. Again, the measuring tape doesn't lie. I never had fat on my calves or arms to begin with, the definition hasn't changed, but the amount of lean muscle I've built sure has.
-
It's very possible to do at the same time. My increasing calf and arm muscles and decreasing belly fat prove it.
-
I don't watch much TV. I get to bed early so I can get my miles in early in the morning. I make the time.
-
I get my butt out of bed at 5:00 am, take care of my dogs, do 20 minutes of yoga as a warm up, and am out the door to do five miles no later than 6:00. I'm back around 7:00, cool off and have breakfast, shower, and leave for work. On the days that I strength train I power walk to and from the gym which is 1.5 miles r/t..…
-
I power walk (average 13:30 pace) 30-40 miles a week. I have no idea how much other walking I do, probably a couple miles a day walking the dogs and another couple miles a day just with life in general.

Anyone who makes rude comments like some if the guys on this thread I automatically put on ignore.
-
Both in my case. I'm down about an inch on the band and half a cup.

They are full of chemicals, GMO ingredients, and general crap. Why would you want to put that into your body when there are so many better things for you that are just as delicious and satisfying. I had some fresh organic berries this morning from a local farm that were better than any Pop-Tart could ever dream of being.
-
I handle this by eating first, then just ordering a glass of wine while they kill their arteries.
-
Most of them are very encouraging. A few remind me to "not lose too much weight." I think they think I'm trying to get back to my 20 year old 5'7" 103 pound and ate everything in sight self. ;)

I disagree. My most supportive sports bras are the ones I need to wriggle into.
-
Breast fat is some of the last to come off--probably something with our evolution to make sure there was nutrition for offspring even in lean times. Once you've lost the fat elsewhere, you will lose breast fat. if might not be a drastic amount (ie a DD isn't going to a B) but typically you'll lose a full cup size or even…

Great job and gorgeous gown!
-
Cheap and supportive sports bra don't fit into the same sentence. That's cold, hard fact. You need to find a bra that both compresses and encapsulates. I like the Moving Comfort Juno and Rebound Racer. You need to try them on, stand in front of a mirror, and do jumping jacks. If your boobs move, find a different bra, that…

Forget what the scale says, what does the measuring tape say? Is your body fat going down? My scale tells me I've lost 19 pounds. The reality is that I've lost more than that in fat, but I've been building muscle. I know this because my body fat measurement has been dropping steadily, and I've lost three dress sizes, going…

Quinoa pasta is great! I don't eat pasta often, but when I do I use the quinoa pasta. It's a superfood with both carbs and protein, and is also made from while grain wheat so you avoid the insulin spikes that come from regular pasta. I cook it a dente and top with a light sauce made with diced tomatoes, a little olive oil…

This morning I had 1/2 cup (dry) mixed with vanilla protein powder and cinnamon. I added a couple of Tbsp of raisins, so good!,
