Isn't it scary how fast it all adds up? I just look at it as a learning experience and think to myself, "Wow! Remember when I used to do that all the time?" :-) At least now we are conscious of the calories. Baby steps!!

Oh I have one! It's just sitting in the garage in a heap, though!

Good for you! Drinking lots of water is the most important thing, but you can eat some leafy greens and/or meat today to replenish the iron you have lost.
-
What's so good about these noodles? Never heard of them, but sounds interesting.

You can also try the spray olive oil. You usually need just enough to coat the pan and a quick spray over the veggies. Tastes just as good.
-
I use Crystal Light, but I dilute it way down, just so it has a hint of the flavor.

As far as fast food goes...gotta got with Wendy's Chili. You can have a large for 280 cals and get the side salad with no dressing for 35 cals and have an OK taco salad. Better 315 than the real taco salad that has 640 cals! Of course, it's not as good without the cheese, sour cream and chips. But it's still OK. Also,…

Girly drinks will get you in trouble (calorie-wise, anyway!). Stay away from anything with mixers or fruit juices. Best bet is a flavored rum with diet sprite or bourbon with diet coke. If you like cream soda, try vanilla vodka with ginger ale! YUM.

I think it's OK as long as you realize you are motivated out of fear! Everyone I know that has been on it has had at least one "accident". The good things about it are that you eat VERY consciously  and it has little to know side effects, especially when compared to other diet pills. Bottom line...only one way to…

Did you try Oikos Greek Yogurt? I know it's made by Stoneyfield. I love it with honey or fruit. More expensive, but worth it!
-
Burgers (mix with egg whites), spaghetti, pretty much anything you would make out of ground beef. But so much better!
-
Thanks! I can't wait to try them.
-
Way to go! Sometimes we just have to step back and look at where we've started from! Good job.
-
That's what I was thinking! Either wait until it evened out or go back and increase my starting weight by three pounds.
-
You also have to think about how much your caloric expenditure goes down when you lay around all day! I had a hysterectomy last year and had to drastically reduce my calories to keep from gaining weight. It's a fine line though, because you want to have proper nutrition to foster the healing process. It also depends on if…

I try to stay away from beer and all fruity drinks with mixers. Your best bet is a bourbon with diet coke or a flavored rum with diet sprite (if they have it).

Amen! I love good food...any food, actually! I struggle in particular with southern home cooking. CORNBREAD namely...and my momma's secret ingredient for every dish is a stick of butter! It's human nature to want more of something that tastes or feels good. I'm sure I will struggle with it for life

I use the Polar F6 and I love it! It's really user friendly. And it comes in pink

I have SI6 and love it. It took a while to work up to the advanced ones. I swear the first 5 times I did the beginner one I couldn't walk for 3 days! But now it's no big deal. It's a LOT of squats! Not too intensive on the cardio. I can only speak for SI6 though. Never tried Turbo Jam.

I love the Flat Out light wraps. You can even get away with using half of one.
-
I love eating it cold with colored peppers, low fat feta, tomatoes and black beans. Yum! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
-
Thank God for wild game! I come from a family of hunters and I live off of bison, venison and antelope (just to name a few!). I haven't bought beef in over 5 years. And you should SEE my cholesterol! It's beautiful  And since we package it all ourselves, it's extra lean. I love it. And it's a good thing I like it or…

Wow! That's a lot to loose in 4 weeks. I've only lost 5. Way to go!
-
I have a polar F6 and I LOVE it! It has a chest strap and watch that tracks your time, calories burned and gives you weekly reports. It was $92 on Amazon and well worth it.

Just start over tomorrow. There are going to be days that don't go as planned but we have to start back with a clean slate every time! Eat! Just don't starve yourself or you will pay for it later.
-
I like the Slim in 6 video series. You would probably have enough space to do them in your dorm room.
-
I have the Polar F6 (around $90 from Amazon) and I love it! Very user-friendly and motivating to see the calories tick away.
-
I do a cheat meal once a week but I still log in my calories.
-
I enjoy exercising because I enjoy FOOD! Extra calories at the end of the day is my motivation. Even though I usually come in under my calorie goal, just knowing that I have a little wiggle room keeps me from freaking out. And it pays off!

Thanks! I can't wait to hit the cereal isle.
