Absolutely. It's very easy for a non compulsive eater to say, "Just have a small piece" I wish it worked that way. I have to keep trigger foods OUT of my house.
-
No. It can't.

Excellent post. I think it needs to be highlighted that it usually ISN'T because one isn't getting enough calories or protein or some other lack of nutrition.

I completely know what you mean. I will binge (my binges are small but still a binge for me) at night when I'm already full. I definitely have a mild form of compulsive eating disorder. I also eat a varied diet and almost always get close to around 120 grams of protein. It just doesn't matter. It's something I work on…

I didn't think there was much negative judgment at all in regards to the OP.
-
Yeah about 20 people just told you.

Great point, Marc. I need to become more honest with my logging. Maybe it will help me get the last 30 off.
-
Well cool. :)

And then a baked potato loaded with sour cream, butter and cheese?? 750??
-
Really??? That makes me feel better. I feel like the desserts alone could be 1000 at LEAST.

We went away this weekend for an overnight trip to a casino resort and we ate at the buffet. I totally didn't log it but now I will recount everything I ate. 1 baked potato with butter, sour cream and cheese 1 plate with green beans, broccoli, mashed sweet potatoes, ceviche, macaroni and cheese, 1 dinner roll, crab salad,…

Nope, you don't have to buy anything to use it online. They do have a premium membership that you have to pay for but I think most people don't. You get everything you need with the free version.

It gave you 13000 steps during your bumpy car ride?? I haven't heard of it doing that many before!
-
Why bother going? Because fun doesn't have to equate to gorging yourself. At least not to me. I think free for alls are BAD ideas. Just my opinion.

Yes, a "treat here or there" but not completely blowing off all the hard work he's done by saying "screw it, I'm in Vegas!!!!" You will feel like crap when you come home 5 pounds heavier with water/sodium and yes...actual fat gain. Take my advice, do NOT make it a free for all.

This.
-
If it were me, that is exactly what I would do. I'm not normally low carb but I would definitely avoid carby foods while still enjoying meats/veggies/fruits...and alcohol.
-
I lose on 1500 and I'm 5'0, 154 pounds and lightly active.
-
I'm going to look into this! Thanks for the info.
-
I really want to as well. I would like to buy a bench set with weights.
-
I don't always but most of the time I do. If I'm eating a salad with cheese, avocado, dressing, nuts...and I'm feeling lazy, I will just log the things that really count not the lettuce, tomatoes, onions...etc. And I lose just fine. :)

I have become 100x more insecure since losing 70+ pounds. I often feel like I was so fat before that I wasn't even looked at or judged because it just didn't even matter. But now when you put me in a room with other good looking women, internally, I become a wreck. I almost always feel inferior to every other woman around…

I CAN walk at 4.5 mph but my body instinctively wants to go into a jog/run. It just feels much more comfortable.
-
That is exactly what I do.
-
I would have the most intense shin splits possible! That's awesome that you other shorties can do it!
-
Totally understand this! 5'0 here. 3.5 is a fast power walk 4.0 is a jog 4.5-5.5 is full on running.

There are SO many that are cheaper and BETTER.
