I have used the Fitbit one for years and have recently switched to the Fitbit charge HR. Wearing it 24/7, we know what our TDEE is, mine fluctuates between 2000-2400 depending on how active I am. I try to stay 500 calories below my TDEE. This has always produced solid weight loss for me. I have my fit bit synced with MFP…

I think everyone should read this. It certainly helped me tonight.

But whyyyyyy can I control myself up until about 6 pm?? lol Do you guys like going to sleep on a very full stomach? I must. I must feel like it's not time to end the day unless I'm stuffed. The trouble is, I used to compulsively eat things like cookies, sweets, chocolate, sandwiches, etc...but now I still compulsively eat…

I would be interested. I have been feeling pretty hopeless lately. I have put on a good 25 pounds over the last year and it's because I have been falling back into my old ways. It almost feels as if I don't have the signal that tells me when I'm comfortably full, like I need to feel grossly full in order to be finished…
-
That's like splitting hairs. You will never know exactly. Those numbers are very, VERY close.
-
You can and I did. They are easy and I actually enjoy them. And the ones I eat usually have no more sodium than a cup of cottage cheese.
-
My advice, do not get fat free cottage cheese, it's "soupy" I can't handle liquidly cottage cheese. If it's thick and chunky it's much tastier.
-
Does it matter what time if you have the calories left over? Absolutely not. Do I think a good chunk of people have those calories readily available. Absolutely not. If you can control your cals, go ahead and eat whenever time you want. I, however, almost never have calories left over for night time eating.

Not so much when I'm alone but more so when I'm around other women who are either my size or smaller than me. I always feel like the fat girl in those situations.

5'0 here! I started at 228 and I'm about 157 right now. I'm up 10 pounds from my low but I'm back on track and losing again. I would ultimately love to be 125 but I'll be honest, 135 would make me very, very happy.
-
5'0, about 155 and I lose consistently on 1500.
-
Are you kidding me? They all look pretty damn fabulous to me and I definitely don't like the TOO skinny look. I think they all look great and heathy.
-
Yes, it's ginormous.
-
I LOVE the black and white. You do look a few sizes smaller in the new bathing suit too...not that it matters but you do!
-
Me! Feel free to add me.
-
Very bad for me because I want 1 tbsp on each apple slice.
-
I also want to say I think you have a very cute figure, I just don't think this is the right bathing suit for you to show it off!
-
I actually think the top looks too small as well. It looks like it's riding up in the back.
-
You are correct, you do not eat your exercise calories back, they are already accounted for. And yes, I would say that is moderate, especially to be on the safe side.
-
maybe accurate for a sedentary person but definitely not an active person.
-
Yes, I think you should eat more. I lose steadily if I maintain 1500 calories and I'm WAY less active than you. I'm also 5'0 and about 155 pounds.
-
The pounds will eventually follow. You aren't going to maintain 195 pounds and lose massive amounts of inches. Just stick with it.
-
Absolutely remove. And NO, you are not faced with them all of your life. It's very different having a package of cookies sitting in your cupboard than knowing they are at the store.
-
What made them decide that your TDEE was around 1000? That is extremely abnormal. I'm wondering how they came up with that.
-
Just ignore them. Look at them as the steps from when you have your fitbit off, like getting ready to shower...etc.
-
That's actually good advice. Something about that can work with a "binging mind" sometimes we feel like we have to eat all the food! I will often be eating a meal thinking about the next meal. So it definitely goes back to what you said. I'm not running out of food!
-
I find them to be very minimal so I don't worry too much about them. But if it were an excessive amount I would try to delete.
-
I would say very accurate for TDEE. Mine will be anywhere from 1800-2400 depending on my activity.

As I lost weight my trigger foods changed...it slowly turned into my husband's Clif bars or small peanut butter single packs (he's a runner) so he now keeps them in the trunk of his car for me.
-
Absolutely. It's very easy for a non compulsive eater to say, "Just have a small piece" I wish it worked that way. I have to keep trigger foods OUT of my house.
