stop overthinking things...you'll drive yourself nuts. Put your stats into the MFP program...do NOT tell it you want to lose 2 lbs a week...and see what it says. Try it for a month or so and see how it goes. If you need to readjust at that point, do. Also...do not weigh yourself constantly. Again..you'll drive yourself…

You have to just decide to be true to yourself, and make good decisions for YOU. No one can make you eat something you don't want to, no one has the right to criticize you about it. Be strong, do what you know is right for you. You can do this. Really.

did you read any of the many posts about WHY you need to eat those calories? didn't think so. creating too big a deficit is NOT a good thing, unless what you want is to damage your metabolism and probably regain the weight within a year or so. If that's what you have in mind, have at it.

Losing that much that fast is not only difficult, its insane. Don't even try it. It isn't healthy, its hard on your body, almost impossible to get adequate nutrition...and you know what? It would be almost guaranteed to come right back within a short time. Do this smart,, do this sensibly, and do it slower.

For one day, not a big problem...but don't make a habit of it. Your body needs nutrition, even and especially when you're losing. Eat a little more calorie dense foods...nuts, cheese, avocados, even a little dark chocolate.

of course. the only problem I can think of...its been a while.....is if youre having a heavy flow day and it gets, um, unexpectedly messy. Other than that, go for it. Probably helpful for cramps, too.

MFP is an awesome tool. It only works if you work it. If you put in the time to log your food honestly and faithfully, and exercize and make good food choices...yes, it works. And it actually is easier than you might think.

I have a glass of wine once or twice a week, and if we happen to go out to dinner, I may have ONE cocktail. Rarely drink beer, I just don't like it much...although there are some hard ciders I like and drink very cold in the summer.

stop weighing yourself so much...youre making yourself nuts with it. If you're 5'11" and weigh 166, youre within a normal weight range, so things are going to be a bit harder.

I bought a runner's wallet for exercising. Holds my ipod and keys and sometimes my phone close to my body...no bounces. Check Amazon ...they carry several kinds.

They have calories...they should be counted. Keep track of them in your "notes" area if you like.

Ive always found the open mouth-insert food-swallow method works best. I can eat serious amounts of food...even when watching my diet.

False. Eat what you want...with an awareness of what it is and what your choices mean. Nothing should be totally off limits...for some ot us that's the surest route to a binge.

The only ice cream that isn't ok to eat....is a flavor you don't like. I don't care for Basking Robbins licorice flavor....so that is not ok on my eating plan.
