Exactly that... I am 50 years old and had 66 pounds to lose. I seriously started this July 12 and am down 40 pounds. My aim is to eat 1200-1500 cal a day and to burn (BMR included) around 2600 cal/day. Hahaha...I drive two sticks...one of them a Beetle convertible, my summer toy. I don't know if guys think its cool and I don't really care. I know my boys (which are grown up guys now) did NOT find it cool when they were still living at home, because they don't drive stick and thus could never borrow my car....

Thanks guys, great info! I guess like everything else, it is a learning curve and I have to play with it. I discovered that it tracks my sleeping calories without me wearing the device, thus I start my day with 400 some calories, ok - that makes sense to me!!
