Maybe your oatmeal is too plain. I never eat mine without a dollop of dark chocolate peanut butter, and occasionally I add half a teaspoon of Hershey's dark chocolate chips - 7.5g which comes out to far more chips than you'd imagine

I agree, Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home videos are great & the best on those with hurting knees. This MFP page has free YouTube video links if you scroll down the page: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/432035-swat-january-walk-with-leslie-sansone-workouts I also love this Tae Bo YouTube playlist; it doesn't hurt my…

Hi friend; haven't had the pleasure of all that many vacations but I'm bumping for you  (all those awesome runs will be worth the bikini.)

Definitely track it! Some things may not seem like much but it will really benefit you to log everything; numerous tiny amounts add up over the -span- of a week. It also helps some to see the types and amounts of veggies they've had thus far each day; might even encourage you to add more of x or y. Edited span, iPad fail.

Bumping. Thanks!
-
Congratulations!

You will get there & do great! Just don't forget to make sure your net intake isn't too low! I read about that a lot in the forums; 1-2K remaining calories might be really stalling your progress. It may be really low fuel for the exercise you're doing and your metabolism might be slowing down to meet the low intake?

Keep us posted and good luck!

Chaubner, your post is great, lots of experience and suggestions. Thanks for sharing your story!

Yes, that is frustrating! Just keep logging faithfully and sticking thru it. You are not dealing with a pregnancy now so just focus on being kind to yourself but consistent and remember slow and steady (logging every day) wins the race :)
-
That is great! The success stories really help me, too. Good luck!
-
Thanks; I really like this.

I'm not personally, but under the forums, just click on Search and type in "chalene extreme" (with this spelling); you'll come up with lots of posts from others doing it.

Thanks!

Congratulations on your soon-to-be child, and for recommitting to logging. There may be a few days of celebration soon, but be sure to come back and stay on track. Good luck

Your remaining calories from Monday thru Friday this past week ranged from 1,140 to over 2,000, and remaining calories means that's what you're still supposed to consume to meet your calorie goal. Don't forget to take the "net" calorie intake as your guide. Good luck!!

From reading MFP posts, it looks like it often takes 2-4 weeks, so you need to hang in there, don't worry about the scale (for now), and remember to look for patience while your body adjusts to this positive change.

Stay within your calories for today, but the planning will help after today. It matters, too, if you tend to be hungrier in the morning or evening; I have less appetite in a.m. and heavier appetite in the evening, so although I eat breakfast and lunch, I use less calories there so that I have more in my 'account' for…

Did you want your healthy lifestyle goals to include alcohol? If getting healthier is really important, then it would be worth not drinking (which includes avoiding situations where you tend to drink) for at least a temporary period so you can focus on your healthy lifestyle goals. This might bring you to a point where you…

Along with the yoga and swimming, & whatever else you decide to incorporate, you can punctuate it here and there with Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home videos. Hmm, perhaps I should try weightlifting my dog. She's 22.5 pounds and quite squirmy.

May I ask what is your net caloric intake? You want to make sure you're not netting too low after exercise, especially with that intensity. I think the above poster's recommendation for lab work is a really, really good idea. Thyroid or other issues can cause incredible problems that can get worse in the absence of other…

You look fantastic! I am so proud of you!!! Keep up the hard work

Above poster has excellent suggestions! Here is something that has helped me: Tae Bo, free on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfoekNVgqPU&list=PL3FA89FBE3B417C3A&index=1&feature=plpp_video I thank God for this playlist. The workout leaves me totally drenched every single time (but easier on my joints than 30DS &…
