USF has a gym that is open from 6am-12am M-F (If I remember correctly). It is part of your school tuition...I would utilize those facilities if this is a serious issue. Plus they also have classes!

45-60 minutes on the elliptical. Debating about getting a ballet conditioning DVD. I take barre class 1-2 times a week and I can really see a difference in my body. Anyone have any great dance-related DVDs?

This. I also love the tanks and boyfriend shirts from Victoria's Secret to pair with my leggings/yoga pants. I look like a fat load but at least I am comfortable.

I have a bowl of oatmeal (Apple Cinnamon) with low-fat milk every morning. It makes me feel more alert then when I don't have breakfast or if I have a crappy breakfast (i.e., sausage biscuit from Mickey D's).

I will repeat weeks until I feel comfortable moving on. Take it at your own pace. As for the side aches, I got these quite a bit. I try to exhale heavily when the opposite foot hits the ground. Sometimes that works, sometimes I have to stop. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water!!

These are some of the things that I worry about too with morning workouts! I have a 40-60 minute commute and my gym doesn't open up until 5. I have spring break coming up (I am a high school teacher) so I think I might try it then...I will let you know.

Everything swells on me after my runs. Hands, feet, ankles, wrists, my face, I have even noticed boob swellage! :noway:

I ran a full 10 minutes last night. I never thought I would get to that level! Just remember that slow and steady wins the race. Don't try to push yourself too far or else you will definitely blow out a knee or something. Keep your chin up, runner! :wink:

Fine. Giving a standardized test today to my 9th graders. Debating whether or not I should sign up for another Barre class. I LOVED it. But I felt so fat and out of place there...

C25K, Barre (Ballet, Pilates and Yoga mixed into one) and weights 5-6 days a week. I also do a lot of walking during work (school teacher and public transportation commute).

I work out anywhere between 7:30-9 pm 4x a week. That is the only times I can get the workout in (I don't get home until 6-7pm every night).

20 minute walk. I tried to run with a runny nose (and chest congestion) and ended up with an asthma attack. Walking is low impact and better on your body while you are sick.
