Until you start learning about what is in foods you don't think 3 cookies are going to be that much. Before I started this I didn't think eating 2-5 cookies in one sitting was a big deal. I used to looooove eating a handful of oreos with a glass of milk. Not anymore, lol.

"The Perks of being a Wallflower" Stephen Chbosky. My favorite quote in this book is "We accept the love we think we deserve." It's so true. "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. I don't read books like this EVER. I picked it up in a second hand store for a quarter and it ended up being one of my favorite books to…

I want to be able to fit into the cute skirts and shirts at Hot Topic. I love that old-age gothic look.

I really hate how they keep re-making a lot of these old classic films/shows. They are classics for a freaking reason.

I was on a huge chocolate/brownie kick the last few days. I finally gave in and had a medium brownie batter blizzard. It made me so sick and full, I no longer want chocolate. :(

Just make sure you're properly fueling your body and if you ever feel really worn out, take a day or two to recover.

We had a kitten once who would try to eat anything you were eating. I finally got annoyed with it and left a plate of super hot sauce on the table. Cat went over....and licked it all up!!! His sister however took one lick and ran off. She never went for our food again, lol.

Amazing!

Some of these I am totally guilty of. I sometimes pronounce words incorrectly on purpose because I like how silly they sound.

Puppy breath is the cutest smell in the entire world!! Matches My hubby after he gets all sweaty from working out, lol.

Try the website/forum baby-gaga.com there are ladies on there who can give you absolutely amazing advice on these kinds of situations. I'm really not sure what kind of help you'll find on a fitness forum.

Thanks for the support guys. Hubby is totally on board. He's losing weight and getting fit as well. What sucks is he can still eat brownies or McD's and lose weight and shape up because he hits the gym HARD and is on his feet for 9 hours straight at work. Howeverrrrrrrrr I took the advice of one of replies and cut up the…

Hell, why not. I'm in.

I was a 7th grader in middle school. I couldn't understand the actual implications of what had happened. I remember making some joking comment and my teacher flipped out on me, and rightfully so. It wasn't until she started yelling at me that I realized how serious this was. She was a teacher who was always very sweet and…

Good advice, IMO. I tried tracking my sodium and ended up just saying "screw it!" I don't have any health concerns regarding my sodium intake and never have, nor does it run in my family. I'm eating healthier and cleaner, that's a big enough step for now.

I take a pouch of tuna mix it with a teaspoon of mayo and a teaspoon of relish. I then spoon it onto either crackers or veggie chips. I also sometimes cook up a big pot of minestrone soup on like a sunday and eat at it the entire week for dinner.

Snacks, snacks, snacks! Kids need to eat frequently since they are constantly moving. Both of my kids are on the slimmer side as well. The doctor is never real concerned. She always says that if they are hungry, they'll eat. She suggested I give them more snacks throughout the day, healthy ones of course. I tend to give…

I don't mean to do it and eat unhealthy. I just find it hard to eat enough protein and such. I make fairly healthy choices, I try to eat as much fresh produce as I can. But many days I fall short of certain things.

Thank you for the support everyone. I managed to push myself to walk uptown with my kids for a parade that was going on for a local event. They really enjoyed all the tractors and horses and I got a little bit of cardio in. I just gotta keep trying.

Just as a note to the ladies who plan on having children one day: Be prepared to fart and poo while giving birth in front of your husband, the doctor, and nurses in the room. Think about it. All that pushing is going to push out more than just a baby.

This pretty much sums up how I feel.
-
Thank you everyone! I feel so motivated and encouraged!!

You may need to increase your calories a bit. Make sure you eat back your excercise calories since you are eating so low. Drink a LOT of water, you'll be amazed the difference it can make in your weight. Be patient.

To answer the question about what I've been doing: mostly just walking and things like pilates and such. Going to start a more intense workout soon. The shirt: I got it at Hot Topic, they might still have some on their site, lol. Thanks for all the compliments everyone. =)

I tried eating at about 1600, didn't lose anything. Tried at 2300 (based on my husbands calculations) didn't lose or gain any weight. Now at 1950 (based on my own calculations) been losing a lb a week, easy. *Shrugs* It's all about finding the right number for you.

    You are so beautiful! My goodness what a difference!! Your advice is amazing as well.

This is one of them for me as well. The frosting is like sugar infused chalk, blech. Most snack cakes don't tickle my fancy.
-
My husband and I totally joke about this all the time.

I'll join in! I just decided today to lose 20lbs by Thanksgiving, so why not try for 30 by christmas!!
