Hi KCK, We're glad to have you. Everyone has slightly different goals. Some are trying to get pregnant now. Others are trying to lose weight so they can become pregnant in the future. A HUGE congratulations to Angela and Meisje!!!  Has the realization that you are going to be a mommy set in yet?

I read this post earlier, and I decided on the spot that we would eat these for dinner. I've read alot of food posts, and many of them sound good. However, this is the first one that I've ever made from a "recipe" on here. The omelets were so easy to cook. (I made a 3 egg omelet, so it took about 18 minutes to cook). They…

You are such a loser!!! The biggest one! Congratulations.

I just assumed that someone was pregnant. I am so glad that there is a group for people like me hoping to get pregnant in 2010. I'm glad I found you though. I'll be checking in weekly with you. Thanks for making this group :flowerforyou:

I've heard that a serving of chicken (or turkey) is roughly the size of the palm of an average woman's hand.

Lane Bryant has sports bras that run from size 38C-46DDD. They are also buy two get two free right now. I've never tried their sports bras, but the balconette regular bras are amazing!! Here's a link: http://www.lanebryant.com/cacique/bras/sports-bra/ultimate-sport-bra/4043c4044c775p31367/index.pro

My best friend had gastric bypass when she was 21. Her highest weight was 378, and now she weighs around 220. Her lowest was about 190, but she has maintained around 220 for five years now. She looks great. She is so much happier and healthier. She has lots of loose skin (so she refuses to wear tank-tops, shorts, etc), but…

I have three that I can think of off the top of my head. 1. Prancer--I was about the same age as the little girl in the movie when it came out, so I've always loved it. 2. The Family Man (the one with Nicholas Cage) 3. It's a Wonderful Life--This is a classic!

I LOVE garlic hummus. My problem with hummus (and nearly every other food) is that I can't stop at one serving. 2 T of hummus isn't nearly enough yumminess for me.

When I stay committed, I can loose weight. My goal for 2010 is to stay committed, track EVERYTHING, and be healthier. (As an extra bonus, I'd love to loose enough weight to get pregnant.)

Thank you for all of the encouragement. I feel that it's such a shame to waste a free membership (although I do have to pay "fees" to the school to cover the cost). I am planning on going one day next week. It's finals week, so I'm hoping that I can get my "first time" over with when there won't be many people there.

I hated the shot for the weight gain issues. I gained 50 pounds after taking the first shot. (to be fair, I also met my husband and drastically changed my eating habits, but still..) I went on the shot (vs the pill) because I didn't want a period every month. That part of it worked.

I loved curves, but I only went once for a trial membership (due to scheduling conflicts). They always offer a free trial so you can see what it's all about. I loved that I was the only one there when I went (but I also went that particular day around 3, so most people were still at work). It was the perfect workout for me…

You have been a great teacher!! He is so handsome. You must be so proud.

Unfortunately, my boobs keep getting bigger and bigger even though I'm losing weight. I wish they'd shrink so I could buy the cute tops, but my stupid big boobs screw everything up. We're never happy with what we've got. If we've got curly hair, we want straight. If it's straight, we want curly. Be thankful that you've…

My weaknesses at Thanksgiving are a little bit of everything. GRRR. Open faced turkey sandwich covered in gravy, mashed potatoes and more gravy, corn casserole, broccoli/cheese/ritz cracker casserole, and chocolate pecan pie.

Yay!!! Congrats!

The Curves for Women book outlines two different diets for different body types. One is a low carb (that's me), and I don't know what the other one is. Maybe you're the other type?

Thanks. I have a before shot (unintentional, it's just a pic of me at my heaviest), and I looked at it today. I can't tell a difference, but I'll try to keep losing so that I can see a difference.

You can but it at almost any grocery store. I know Walmart carries it and it's beside the other yogurt in the refrigerated dairy aisle. (I love regular yogurt, but I'm not a fan of Greek. It definitely has a different taste and consistency than regular yogurt.)

What a transformation. You look amazing! How long did it take you to lose 137 pounds?

If your stomach is growling, you are clearly hungry. Eat something!!! The fact that you are concerned, tells me that you know to eat something healthy like oatmeal versus a bag of chips. If you are constantly hungry, your body will slow down its metabolism to burn only the calories given (and not the extra stuff you want…

I'm glad to know that there are other women out there with PCOS on this site. I don't follow a low glycemic index diet. However, I try to eat healthyish meals. I am an incredibly picky eater who doesn't like many vegetables or meats. All that leaves is carbs. It's really hard to make myself not eat many carbs and to try to…

You look awesome!!!! Congratulations!!
