  • Don't be nervous. You truly look beautiful! You can tell that you've been working really hard.
  • You look amazing!! Good job!
  • Bump...sounds really good and great for people on low carb diets.
  • Love this! It puts everything in perspective.
  • I'd love to be around 160. Even at my lightest, I'm a size 14. I just don't seem to get smaller.
  • Amazing progress!! You look great.
  • Happy Birthday! You look AMAZING! You can see the joy in your smile now. Keep up the great work!
  • The steamer one, Beef Merlot, is really, really good. It tastes just like mom's homecooked pot roast. AND it's filling too. There are some bad ones out there, but there are also alot of really good ones. TV dinners are great for a quick lunch (for me anyways).
  • I have washed my shoes before in the washing machine. I wash them with a regular load of laundry (usually my husband's work clothes because they're gross anyhow). I have to make sure that my washer doesn't get off track, because occasionally the shoes will throw the washer out of balance. When that happens, I just…
  • Pink lady apples are the best! They're sweet and crisp (I don't like mushy apples). I also like Granny Smith apples when I can't find pink ladies.

  • Yes, yes, and sadly, yes. I have those horrible side effects when I have taken metformin in the past. I took metformin for about 6 months, and I finally had to stop taking it. I couldn't deal with those side effects anymore. I just went back to the doctor, and she prescribed metformin 2 -750 mg pills twice a day. I took…
  • I like pretzels with cream cheese and pumpernickel bread with cream cheese. As you can see, my weakness is anything with cheese...
  • I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago. Now I'm having trouble having a baby and difficulty losing weight? ]What?? That's just not fair. Okay, I'm done venting and I'll answer your question. There's a pregnancy thread on here somewhere where women talk about PCOS, getting pregnant, etc. Maybe you should try to find it…
  • Yay for double victories!
  • I decided to start eating healthy again. On Monday, I started using MFP again, and I'm really glad that I did it. Almost 2 year ago I did MFP and lost 25 pounds...about half of that has creeped back on, and this time I am determined to pull it off and some extra!
  • That's so amazing. It doesn't matter if they were tight...the point is that they fit! AND they were a size 14! I can't wait until I can say that (even getting a really tight pair of 14s on now would be amazing)
  • Exactly!! If you are going to eat pasta, you might as well enjoy it, so you don't splurge later one. I was wondering the same thing about the pasta, and I looked at the backs of some in Walmart (don't remember the specifics). The only difference I saw was that the wheat pasta had a teeny bit more fiber. It's just not worth…
  • I wouldn't take a chance. Statistically it's probably one in a million that some crazy person would harm you somehow. Someone has to be that one person that makes up that statistic, and you don't want to be that one person.
  • I've lost about 26 pounds without much "formal" exercise, but I have alot to lose. I lost the first 20 pounds fairly quickly, but the last 6 pounds have came off very slowly. I'd love to have time to walk on a treadmill (I really love walking on a treadmill), but I am a full-time student and I work part-time. I can say…
  • Candace--let us know how it goes with clomid. My doctor said clomid was the next step for me. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I did so-so last week on the water challenge. Some days I drank 40 oz of water which is alot for me. I know it's not nearly as much as I am supposed to drink, but I've got to start somewhere.
  • Thanks. It does make me feel better to know some others are in my shoes.
  • I usually do weigh-ins on Mondays, so today's weigh-in was only for three days. I lost 1 pound!! Yay, I know it's only one pound, but losing keeps me motivated to work harder. I drank about 20 ounces of water so far today, which is a pretty good day for me. I'll probably be able to double my water intake tomorrow. Baby…
  • It's all personal preferences, but I don't like Greek yogurt (the taste or the cottage cheese like consistency). I really like any other non-Greek yogurts. My advice is to spend $1 and buy a small container of it. Oikos brand (don't know about the others) is located next to the regular yogurt in most grocery stores. Good…
  • I've lost about 25 pounds, and if anything, my boobs are bigger now (at least they look bigger). I think because I've lost in other areas and not in my boobs, they look even larger than they did before. I'd love to drop down to a D or even DD. I can't wait until the day that I can buy bras in a regular store!!

  • Wow, that's not a question I ever pondered. I never *honestly* thought that I'd be able to make it down that far. First, I'd buy an all new wardrobe. Second, I'd do anything imaginable to get pregnant (since my goal is to lose enough weight to become preggers.)
  • I am so jealous!!! I'd love to be a size 12. It makes all of your hard work pay off.
  • First, Congratulations!!! Second, ask your doctor. If you are waiting for an appointment before you can see him/her, call and ask. Tell the nurse who answers the phone what your situation is, and I am sure that he/she will be able to help. If they can't help, you should immediately get another doctor and probably eat to…
  • That's awesome!!! You're such a loser (weight loser that is).
