  • But you have to watch turkey burger and ground turkey... sometimes it's worse for you than really lean beef would be because (gross, but true) they grind in the fat and skin with the meat. So be aware and grab the leanest you can find, Asa!
  • Gorgeous pictures, hon! Honestly now you look really healthy and happy at your current weight and can only imagine how much you'll glow at your goal! Great job!! Loox!
  • I see you're at 205 pounds, that's no where near a dangerous weight. You are looking good and healthy and seem to be happier in your pictures! Maybe once you reach your goal weight, try shifting your new goals from new weight loss numbers to a physical activity. Like your marathon. Or make a goal to benchpress X amount of…
  • With lunch meats it's nearly impossible I think, unless it's specifically made for low sodium diets. Instead of ham though you could grill up some chicken breast or turkey breast, cool it and slice it for sandwiches. Still not ham though, I know!
  • Cabbage Soup One head of white cabbage chopped into rough squares 4 stalks of celery chopped 1 green pepper chopped 1 onion chopped 1 TBS minced garlic 1 can of low sodium diced tomatoes (or use fresh and add a can of low sodium tomato sauce) 1 cup diced mushrooms Toss all of this ina big ol' pot and simmer until the…
  • Speaking of which... There's a BK add right> right when I posted that! hahaha
  • Cool thanks! Too bad it didn't whap me upseide the head when i put in "Burger King Whopper with bacon and cheese", eh?
  • I agree...who hasn't found the dried up french fry under the car seat? (Having kids I've found far worse...chicken nuggets and such, all perfectly preserved and hard as a rock.) This isn't a new concept at all and to me a video of dried food doesn't make it seem worse for me, it makes it seem like the person filming it is…
  • Well, all depends on how fast you swim and how big the pool. You could time yourself for one lap and then do the math to figure out what 60 minutes worth ends up being.
  • I think, now this is just me and I'm no nutritionist, but unless you have serious blood pressure issues, you can go over the daily limit of sodium by a bit as long as you hit the water hard and flush your system out. Is too much salt bad for you, yup. And unless you make every meal from scratch, you will have a hard time…
  • Never have heard of that...Any good or are you finding out if it's worthwhile?
  • i take it we're not counting porno clips? :blushing: I'm a fan of Modern family, but it's not on yet...So I'm going to go with *kitten* 3D.
  • Mmmmm fudgsicles. I'm gettin some on my way home from work now. Nomnomnom.
  • Get yourself some high quality choclates, dark if you like it, that's better. then plan it into your calories. If you want it and can't live without it, then denyingyourself isn't going to work. but if you allowit and plan for it with your calories, you'll be fine. Just be mindful of portions.
  • NEVAH!!! truely, if you are staying in your calorie range, when you eat plays less havok thatn WHAT you eat. So, eat when you want to. Now, some people may have a harder time sleeping and such if they eat too late. But that's a different support board all together. :)
  • this makes me want to put out a personal add for a Mandarin speaking friend to take me to lunch. :)

  • Welcome aboard! You'll love it here and find tons of support!
  • i know...Funny, we call those crab meat cheese around here (or crabby cheese depending on where you order from) I've heard them called rangoons before though. They are delish! Come over, we'll head out for China Palace and force them to make us something healthy!
  • I usually get shrimp chow mein, no MSG. I could try and order with the sauce on the side, not a bad idea. And maybe 1/2 the noodles. That wouldn't be a bad idea at all. i don't htink they have brown rice, just white or fried or noodles. Woner if I could get sprouts instead of noodles... hmmm I'm goign to try that next…
  • Rec was remade into Quatantine here in the US. I started Rec, but my DVD was messed up and didn't finish, but it was almost scene for scene like Quarantine. That one was a case of Rabies gone mad, so like Rage in the 28 movies and a smaller case of isolation, because the peeps inside the building can't get out and…
  • Then there's the classic line "I kick *kitten* for the lord!" LOVELY! You mean the part where he's at the park with the zombie baby in the stroller punching it and throwing it around? Hahaha Sick fun!
  • Ahhh! I forgot one... Peter Jackson's Braindead (Dead Alive in the US). One of the flippin best, gorriest cult films I have ever seen. I love this movie. Nothing beats the line "Your mother ate my dog!" And why shoot a zombie when you have a lawn mower and guitar strap? Beautiful! yes...i have issues.
  • Good point on the 28 Days and Weeks... They weren't "dead" but were what I would consider a zombie. The official definition of a zombie includes people who are under the magical control of someone else, such as voodoo magic. But they go on to say that modern movies have expanded the definition to include the reanimated…
  • But...the military is big, but it is far from perfect, so there would eventually be contamination within the quarantine and that would fall apart and all Zombie Hell breaks loose. OR Knowing the government, the outbreak was their fault and they would destroy everyone, the zombies and the living,. just to cover it up.
  • I chalked that up to shock. I mean, he's a cop, but he had just woke from a coma (I assume) and probably half thought he was hallucinating. then he did at least try and find his family. But yeah, when he's with the father and son, seems like he would have been a bit more questioning (after they untied him and fed him, of…
