I don't want to add much more to this thread but I wanted to share a couple of things... Having babies is not an excuse but indeed could be a reason. I gaind over 60lb with my daughter. And no I didn't use my pregnancy as an excuse to overeat but unfortunately did use food as a crutch to cope with being all alone during my…

Thank you!!! Will try to make these for them in the course of next week and see what works! Sweet potato! Should have thought about it before - they love them!

That is a very good point. I have to ask (I am not talking about myself here but a loved one) but I think it has to be "brain hunger". Unfortunately the medication they are taking is well known for causing massive weight gain and even diabetes :( The problem is they cannot fall asleep (or occupy themselves, keep busy) in…

Interestingly enough last summer I had to take probiotics (combination of pre and pro biotics in a capsule form) due to a course of heavy antibiotics. I started losing weight without even trying. I lost about 6lb in the course of 2 months and I felt much better as far as my stomach and digestive system go. I was sure it…

Saving the bulck of calories is what they do at the moment but seems that it is still not enough, I think the medication itself is causing the metabolism to change in some way. But that is a great suggestion! Never tried almond milk, will try to find some, hope they like it! Pretzels might not be enough I am afraid :( It…

Congratulations! I think I iwll follow your example and up my cals a bit although I am really scared to do it...

Actually... it sounds more like you work hard for YOU rather than, well, us... I would think that working hard for somebody would mean doing things so they feel well, not so they show appreciation for the one doing those things? Or am I completely off the mark? There is of course also the other side of it... most women…

You look great! What a difference! Keep up the good work!

I know it is late in the month but I would really like to join in, I hope that is OK. I have about 48lb to lose and would like to get rid of them by the end of the year which means about 5 pounds a month and this thread perfectly fits my goals :) I am backdating to beginning of march so I can have full entry here: CW:…

Wow! Looking amazing, great job!

I think it is a personal choice and there is no 'shoulds' and 'musts'.

Wow, thanks for all the lovely responses! From what I gather getting down to a size US4/UK8/EU38 would be close to impossible for me. I can't remember ever being able to fit into that size (except from some special cut clothes) as I have very wide hips and normally my trousers are tight on the hips and huge in the waist...…

I think the main point here is that we should stop looking at a number on a website and start listening to the clues of our own bodies. Drink as much or as few water you feel good with. Thats all :)

Wow, what a transformation! Well done!
