Thanks guys I do log everything and use a HRM I am currently trying to do the TDEE -20% thing but struggling big time lol

Its down to preference but I find if I eat before a workout I can often feel it jiggle around in my belly whilst jumping about so I do not eat or drink anything till after :)

When I did this dvd the first time round I gained weight for a week or so this was due to water because my body wasnt used to doing those types of exercises and so held water to repair my muscles but it does come off so please dont panic if you first get a gain :)

I ran a mile and a half without stopping I had a mental block that stopped me running further than a mile for the last 2 months!

I am doing Jillian Michaels dvds at the moment (not proper lifting I know) I am weening myself onto weights slowly lol This new rules for girls for lifting is it a book/ where can I buy it ? I would like to do a weights programme in a few months time but have no idea where to start :S Thank you

It is just water weight. when you use muscles that you dont normally use when exercising it creates little tears. Your muscles then absorb the water to repair these tears which is why you will gain weight when starting new exercises your body isnt used to. I am not in a situation where I can get any abs there is way too much fat there. However I do hold a low of fat on my stomach that I am desperate to get rid of. Thank you :) At the moment my lunch consists of a protein shake and a cup a soup whilst im at work so If I drink my protein shake as an extra and have a sandwich or left overs for lunch I should be able to up it with good foods :)

Thank you :) I am starting ripped in 30 in feb and there is a lot of different plank moves in that ! So I will try and do the plank 1 or 2 times a day until I start so I can hopefully get the best out of my dvd when I start :)

Awesome thanks I have bought this and done it once or twice but definitely going to try do the whole thing even if it means stopping a couple of times I just didn't want to do it if it was going to make me gain weight in muscle

I said to my boss this morning: I've lost 1.2 lbs this week thats 1/4 of what I put on at christmas so a good start :) and she said she thought I was becoming a bit obssessed with weight loss, is it a bad thing to want to eat healthy exercise regularly and lose weight gained over the holidays ? :S

I would never cut them out completely as it is so incredibly bad for you. But would you advise lowering my carb intake just for a while ?

Lmao I do short slow runs because I am rubbish at running my body is totally not used to it, so I am constantly running at a high heart rate. I am sure that will change in time though. Thank you for your advice :)
