I have been in OTF since July 2015 and love it. I go 5 - 6 days a week and it's about $149/month which yes is a lot but it's a great atmosphere, it's a mix of rower, tread, weights and TRX bands. There is no waiting for other people to finish their time on a treadmill and it's like having a personal trainer for an hour…

I totally agree with this

This makes me want to buy a corset :)

For me, I was always a "big girl" and was okay emotionally with that. When I lost the weight, I thought I would be happier and in some ways I am. On the other front, it brought a lot more opposite sex attention I wasn't really prepared for which would have been fine but I am married so not so great :) Plus, you realize…

Except my boobs were never anything to write home about - all the other things for sure.

Agree post above about lifestyle change.

I would say time and consistance will help break the habit. I also wanted salty then sweet then salty again. Find ways to occupy yourself that isn't eating too - I know how desk bound jobs can be. It's an addiction and it's not an easy one to break but I did it, millions on MFP have done it, and you can do it too. Another…

I had to discuss when a former friend told people I must be battling an illness to have lost weight.

My answer - while I appreciate you giving me a heads up why the hell do you care what your ex-girlfriend thinks??? But fine, I'll put on lipstick, sheesh.

I must tell everyone my sister died from bypass surgery. She basically starved for the month after the surgery as she was not able to eat anything and losing almost 50lbs in a month. Her heart gave out.

I had heard that when you exercise, you shouldn't eat less than 30 mins before or after the workout and only drink water. I don't know if that helps but it is what I read somewhere :)

Married 3 years, together almost 7.

Yes I'd have to agree with this statement - you are hot and no, I'm not hitting on you :)

I am partial to Special K with a dash of cinnamon. Calories are between 100 - 120 depending on the flavor. Will now try Kashi though :)

I agree with protein, water and fiber. Also, stick with it because it does get easier. When I first started, I was hungry all the time. But that's what got me to 240lbs in the first place. It's about taking control and re-programing your body to eat less. I find that when I start getting hungry and I've already had my meal…

Me too! Then i thought well that would make me sick and puke so I guess that would help? Lol!

Artichoke (steamed) but really I love a lot of veggies.

World Table Black Sesame Wasabi Soy Rice Crackers (WalMart). Spicy and thin :)

Other than the medication, did your doctor give you advice on what exercises you could do? What are you doing now? If you did soccer for that long, I'm sure most exercises should come easy to you :)

 Every Saturday we plan before shopping - one night meatless, one night chicken, one night sandwiches. I have a page on Facebook called F'N Kitchen (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fn-Kitchen/290344841018840 ) where you can find a picture of each meal and recipe  - click "like" to follow!

right? I am starting to think I have no idea how to use a simple measuring tape :)

That's a husband worth keeping :)

Hit snooze several times (my alarm is set an hour before I have to wake up since I have an apparent addiction to the snooze button), bathroom, feed the baby, wake up the oldest kid, start my work out by 6:30, in the shower by 7a, breakfast of cereal or packet of oatmeal or egg & canbacon sandwich, hair and makeup, wake up…

I just got this for PS3 yesterday. The best I can figure without a fancy heart monitor is time spent exercising and selecting Circuit Training since it's different exercises. Good luck!

I have mixed feelings about him - but one episode said "cheat on your diet" and then his cheat day insisted of what I eat most days of my diet. man behind the curtain trick indeed! :)

From personal experience, it doesn't work out. I think I lied to myself thinking it would work if we just followed the "rules" but it doesn't. Someone always gets hurt; and as a woman, I started to feel unworthy of my husband's love and respect.

I do the following: Meatless Mondays, cut back from three teaspoons of sugar to one in coffee, drink water (which I did anyway, I love water) and move with intention (or exercise) daily. Also, anything that I can do healthier and not taste the difference I do - like low fat mayo and mayo taste about the same to me. I do…

When I was 16 and working at a movie theater, women used to ask us to pop fresh popcorn without oil or butter or salt. I don't know if they'll accommodate that request now and there is the residue of the oil from the last batch of corn but it is better then nothing. God I love a good movie theater popcorn!
