BADASS. The bike ride I took today used to take me 45 minutes to complete, but today it was only 30. Time to map out some longer routes!
-
Eek. Pretty sure if I ate only 600 calories a day I wouldn't be just HANGRY, I would probably go on a killing spree to get my hands on any kind of food!
-
Meh, 25 days. That doesn't speak to how many days I've used the app though, just how many days in a row I have had internet connection. In the summer I like to go off the grid a lot, but I pre-log my food and adjust my diary when I get home to accurately reflect those days I couldn't log in.

There are tons of things you can do! Walking Biking Hiking (yes it is walking, but it's walking with a view!) Pilates Dancing (belly, salsa, heck use your game console and do some DDR) Swimming (I know you can't do pools, but what about lakes, rivers, etc?) Strength Training (you can find out from your doc if you can do…

This *small* thing you are doing is really the key to it all! So, good on you!

I'm still a work in progress, but here is my so far pictures! The picture on the far left is my before and the last two were taken 10 weeks apart, this past fall, as comparison pictures for an at-home workout I was doing. I'm sorry, I can't find the front pictures right now, though.

I would just like to know when the class was taught to us ladies about how to walk in them, because apparently I missed it.
-
You look fantastic and I LOVE that you are fun with your workouts!
-
Yep, yep, this!
-
Yes! You look fantastic! Look how healthy and happy you've become!
-
My opinion: who cares what anyone else thinks? Do you for you.

I'm usually up anywhere between 4:30 and 5:30, depending on my schedule. I get up, get dressed, and am either pressing play or out the door before I know that I'm awake. When I'm running I listen to the same playlists as usual and I drink my first cup of coffee when I hit stop or walk in the door.

....but, but the fries are McD's best asset.
-
Yes, this. Getting started is the hardest part, but once you have a routine you will feel bad missing your workout.

I used to hate it, but now I love it! Using my body to do awesome things is badass! I only wish now that I had started and stuck with exercise sooner
-
Well, I love exercise simply because it helped me overcome some major problems with a chronic disease. Five years ago I could barely walk a half mile without being in pain. Slowly but surely, I built up my strength and endurance and am actually able to run now! This is something I though would be impossible even a year…

Mmm, Dave Matthews Band, but because of the show. I was so bored, I fell asleep!
-
I'd never seen this show until someone shared this video on FB. So effing badass!
-
I'm going to echo a bunch of people here and say workout inside, in front of a fan or your a/c. Or, get up early in the morning, before it gets hot and workout then.

Meh. Did a triathlon, yesterday, during shark week. Anything is possible when you stop making excuses.
-
Save your money and make your own protein shake or smoothie. I have a smoothie for breakfast M-F and I love it. I use protein powder and Greek yogurt in mine to make it more filling.

He's a total weirdo and his films are bizarre, so I pretty much just love him!
-
Dead Man, actually, really almost all Jim Jarmusch films. I mean, how do you not like this dude?
-
Pfft. This makes far too much sense to be real. (Please note sarcasm.)
-
^This! If you had told me last year that I'd be a runner and also signed up for a triathlon this year I would have called you crazy, because I always let my RA keep me down. Now I just like to use my body to the best of its abilities and no longer use my illness as an excuse!
-
I'll get back to you once I've seen it.

You look great in both! I always have both so that I can change up my look. Plus, contacts, for me, are a necessity for working out. I hate when my glasses slide down my sweaty face, lol. I agree with the folks about Lasik. If I could, I would. I have a couple of friends who have had it and love the freedom from eyewear…
