Outside! Preferably on a trail, but will take a park or the neighborhood over a dreadmill any day!

I guess the tears in my eyes messed up my ability to type. *fixed it

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this beauty story.

Don't forget sugar, I'm pretty sure it also is the debil

Ugh, I could never walk for that long on an indoor track or a treadmill. However, the miles and minutes fly by outside. I just dress for the weather, grab my iPod and my dog and go.

Eat, drink, be merry (or grouchy), but I'm still going to eat and drink like a mofo.

I'm doing a 5k Turkey Trot and will of course walk my maniac dog probably another 3-5 miles. So, other than the gluttony, business as usual for me. :)

How do you not love Duddits? Not his best book, but not terrible either. I do, however, agree about the movie.

What has helped me most and gotten me past my plateau and on to finally living a healthy life is no longer thinking of anything as a cheat meal or cheat day. Instead, I increased my daily caloric intake, while still eating at a deficit. This enables me to enjoy all the foods I love while still staying within my calorie…

It looks like to me that you are getting some really sound advice thus far! I don't have a lot to add, except that I can tell you that if I can do it, you can do it! This past summer I signed up for a sprint triathlon that my work actually sponsors us in, and then at the last minute ended up taking someone's place in…

My go-to smoothie recipe is always right around 300 calories and 30g protein. 1/2C non-fat plain Greek yogurt 1/2 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder 1T Flaxseeds 1/2 Banana 1/2C Fruit - you pick, I use blueberries, strawberries, mixed berries, tropical mix Splash of non-fat milk **I actually use a food scale and message…

Baked fries. They satisfy that need for fried food, without being fried.

And thanks. Now the Johnny Paycheck song is stuck in my head...

It would depend on your intensity during the workouts. When I go hiking or walking I generally consider those light to moderate workouts, depending on my speed. However, when I do HIIT or run, etc, I consider that to be strenuous.
-
I'm all about moderation. So, I still snack on my favorite snacks, just not daily, and usually not as large a portion as before.

Either you get up earlier, or you fit in gym time after work. When you really want this, you will make time. I get up at 5 or 5:30 depending on my workout and do it before I go to work. I've found if I wait until afternoon I lose motivation.

I have a 32", which I only upgraded to because my 27" died. When I go to friends' houses I am amazed by their giant TVs. Mine is just so dinky, but it works!

^Yes, all the yes. Me too.

This is not something I would have ever made myself, but my good friend was diagnosed with celiac disease, so she made us a cauliflower crust pizza one night. While it was *not* pizza, it was, in fact, delicious! She has made it a whole bunch, so maybe she has perfected the recipe, but her crust was crunchy, cheesy,…

I still am surprised by my pictures sometimes. I *know* I'm a much smaller size, but I guess I don't feel like I look it, until I see a picture.
-
What's wrong with having a little fun during your workout? Until I found something I loved to do I had a hard time staying motivated. Now that I enjoy my workouts I find I push myself even harder.

This gives me a bit of relief. I was starting to think I was the last woman in the world who is not a into beards. Take them or leave them, personally.
-
When you find that place will you leave me a trail of cake crumbs to follow so I can get there too?
-
Yup, just had some at lunch on my sammich. Mmm, bacon.
