^Yeah, this.

Eee, yes, and probably more fat and water in your diet.

Me three.

*sigh* The format of the old forums.

I'm not a fan of the gym, so I workout at home.

Congratulations!! Going down a size is a big milestone! Whenever I go down a size I do a happy dance! Internally and yes, I even sometimes actually dance! :)

Pretty sure the made from scratch pumpkin donuts I had this weekend were worth every single calorie!

Yup, already got it. I get one every year.

If a person wants to lose weight then they will do it. If they ask for advice, then help them out, but otherwise, I'd just keep on keeping on and focus on yourself.

What an awesome and inspirational story and transformation! Thanks for sharing and congrats!

Mmm. Strawberry rhubarb or pecan, or just a slice of both, please. *licks lips*

I have a desk job as well, sitting 8 hours a day. Eating at a caloric deficit is what is most important, but because of my inactive job I try to stay active on my breaks and outside of work. I use the majority of my breaks to get some walking in. Most days I have almost 5 miles in before I leave for home (sometimes more,…

Oh please, when I was a wee girl, I was singing, er rapping, "Push It". I'm pretty sure I had no clue what the heck I was singing at the time. I don't think it in any way influenced my sexual choices either, probably because, again, I had no clue and just liked the music. Sometimes a song is just a song.

Meh. If I've never interacted with someone, then I delete them. I don't delete people who aren't here a few days or even a month, depending on our interactions. I've been there, done that.

You will lose weight as long as you are eating at a caloric deficit. It looks like you already are, too! Congrats!

You don't have to defend yourself. I think the points people have made in this thread are accurate. Dogs miss us A LOT when we are gone. While doggy day care and dog walkers are great, dogs miss THEIR human. I think the point most people are trying to make is that maybe you should revisit getting a dog when you have more…

^This. And I'll just add, are you eating enough throughout the day? Maybe you need to increase your daily calories.

Not a motivational quote, but it works for me.

I'm a fan of them and really like the new meal bars. I do not eat them as a meal, but as an afternoon snack. Also, if I get gassy from them, then I'm safely at home when it happens.

I'm a fan of Hydraulic jeans and prefer boot cut or a skinny boot cut! (Always in a tall other wise I look like I'm waiting for a flood.) I wish I could rock the skinny jeans but they just look weird on me.

Unless you have some sort of health issue, like diabetes where you need to control your sugar intake, you don't need to worry about the number all that much.

And consider mine one of the lives you've touched.

When I started out trying to lose weight all I could really do was walk because of the problems I have with my joints. Plus, when I started I could barely make it a mile without many aches and pains. I started slowly (oh so slowly) and worked up to 4-6 miles a day around my hood. Well, needless to say, my neighbors became…

Have you found out your BMR or TDEE? Are you weighing all your food carefully? You may need to be actually eating more if you are as active as you say you are. I workout 5 days a week, plus walking daily and I eat anywhere between 1700-1900 calories and have consistently lost. (BTW, I'm just shy of 5'9, so we're similar…

Admittedly, I did not read all the posts. Also, *hangs head in shame*, I shake my size 8 money maker to this song every time it comes on. I guess I just like the beat and don't take it all that seriously.

It's a fantastic dress and you look awesome in it! I say keep it!
