Mostly I just steam it. Sometimes I get nutty and grill it. Occasionally I get crazy and pan sear it with olive oil and garlic. Once in a blue moon I add fresh parmesan cheese to it.

Leftovers from dinner last night: Jalapeno and cream cheese stuffed, bacon-wrapped chicken breast Asparagus Baked Beans (There was coleslaw but I couldn't help myself and finished it last night.)

When I run I always use the lined shorts, but if I'm lifting or at the gym (which I don't belong to anymore, but workout at home), I wear boy cut shorts. They are comfy and don't ride up.

M-F my go to breakfast is a protein smoothie made with Greek yogurt, a banana, mixed berries and protein powder. It's roughly 300 calories, filling, and easy to make and portable. :)

I would suggest getting up just half an hour earlier and doing some sort of workout in the morning.
