  • Why can't we support our friends anymore? That's part of our losing process.
  • Please keep me in all of them. I love the challenge I give myself...to lose SOMETHING each week. It is very motivating.
  • Thank you for taking over. I was going to quit this challenge if there was no communication. I was on the mint team (why I was taken off I don't know) and the communication there was great. I have been slow at getting this weight off. For every loss I figure I can splurge so I gain it back. I had to have a stern talk with…
  • Good luck! I do both and it helps me. Then again, I do WW because I like the people there! The people here are great also and you will get lots of motivation from those you friend.
  • Welcome. The motivation on MFP is great! You will find a lot of support here.
  • This sounds great. Can I still join?
  • Welcome! Being a grandparent is fun. I have three granddaughters but unfortunately they are in Dallas. Enjoy them and spoil them as that is what we're suppose to do!
  • Welcome. This is an awesome site to get motivation and help. As far as flavored coffee goes, I limit mine and use it as a treat rather than every morning occurrence. I generally go for sugar free or fat free flavorings. Some say it's not good for you but I don't have enough of it to matter. I also don't always log all my…
  • I clicked on Jules1135 and it shows deactivated.
  • Feel free to add me. I've been here since January, 2012 and am more motivated than ever. I'm trying to lose as much as I can by Christmas when my lipids will be tested again. So far I'm doing great...even if I do say so myself! I'm 57 years old and getting younger each year!
  • I knitted three scarves, different pattern and different yarn, for each of my granddaughters. I made a couple caps that I'll probably end up using as gifts also. I've been on the Dr. Who scarf off and on for a year and a half now and just can't seem to finish it. Just knitting for 15 feet gets boring. I hope to get on the…
  • Welcome and good luck. I, too, want to lose 20 by June. Let's hope we make it!
  • Welcome. This is an awesome site. I'm sure you'll do great.
  • I've been here a year and only got real serious about it in January. This is my year to get this weight off. Good luck on your weight loss journey.
  • Welcome. You are an inspiration! Good luck on your weight loss journey. I know you'll have great success.

  • Welcome. This is a wonderful site and I'm sure you'll do great. I've been here a year but got serious again in January. This will be my year to get at goal. Add me if you want another friend.
  • Welcome to all. I want to lose another 18 pounds by June but overall I want to lose no less than 40 pounds....hopefully by the end of the year! May we all have luck in our weight loss journeys.
  • Welcome. You've done great so far. I want to lose 18 pounds by June when my younger son is getting married. I agree, it is a challenge.
  • You're off to a great start! Congratulations! I also have an issue of not always eating all my calories. Unfortunately the weight doesn't come off any faster. Good luck with reaching your goal before your doctor appointment.
  • 140 pounds is an awesome accomplishment! Congratulations!
  • Welcome. We're all here for the same reason......to lose weight. I hope you can eventually control your stress eating. My problem is the opposite. I sometimes find it hard to eat the minimum calories. That can be just as bad as stress eating. Good luck and I'm sure you'll do fine.
  • You've done great so far. Double tracking just might help. I do and it really helps me.
  • Welcome. You've done great so far.

  • I had Cushings Syndrome which is in the Graves family. It is harder to lose weight, but not impossible.. Don't lose your motivation.
  • I think you're off to a great start. I often rely on Slim Fast when I'm pressed for time with my meals. I feel it's better than some if the other junk I would have used before. Keep up the good work!
  • I did this some last year but became more motivated and dedicated Jan2. I think you have to be just in the right frame of mind to make a go at it. I'm ready now!
  • I've been here a year and got serious again Jan 2. I'm trying new recipes to keep things interesting. So far so good.
  • I, too, have done WW. I worked for them for 14 years also. I never understood why someone would pay the weekly fee and not work the program. I don't like their PPS system though. MFP fits into my budget better since it's free! A couple weeks ago I felt I needed a little more accountability so I dug out my old WW material,…
  • Right now I'm tracking my food on both MFP and WW. However, I'm using their old point system, not the PointsPlus. I never did like the new system. MFP is free so I'll be staying with that.
  • Having the support of friends really helps. Feel free to add me.
