  • 1) cut out diet fizzy drinks and swap it for water 2) don't snack to avoid housework, dance to music while doing the housework instead! 3) I have a pair of size 12 jeans I can do up, but can't wear in public! when April comes around i want to be one step closer to being summer ready!
  • I posted yesterday without introducing myself! I'm Steph, 24 from England. I have a son called Alex who is now 5 and a half. in 2010, early 2011 I had lost all of my pregnancy weight (Alex was born in 2007!!) but I was in a new relationship and that helped keep my weight down too, at my slimmest I was 69kg, but for my…
  • from October 31st last year to last Monday I had managed to go for 3 jogs a week with the exception of 2 weeks off when I caught the flu and another week off for a sprained ankle, but sun, rain, wind or snow I was outside pounding the pavement! but over that time (ie Christmas too!) I did my best to not weigh myself or…
  • 1st feb i will buy a new swim suit and goggles if 1) I log food every day bar Sunday (where i have a splurge day!) 2) I don't miss any of my three runs a week (bar injury - fingers crossed, it won't happen) 3) don't weigh myself at all, but do measurements once a week weight loss isn't the goal as such as I get far too…
  • this is the body shape i had!! and the one i'm going for again!!
  • i'm always restarting! but every time i've put back on a little bit less! just need to learn how to 'maintain' this time round!
  • I always go wrong on the weekends and even more on bank holidays!! but this one I'm starting over, today is 'Monday, tomorrow is 'Tuesday' so on and so on. it sounds silly but it just might work! my son is already on half term today and I do tend to eat better when he's at home. I want to lose a stone before September and…
  • i plan the week's meals in my head, i love food and i try to stick to my calorie plan! but to try and not snack in the evening i try to remember that it's normal to feel hungry and feeling hungry at meal times means you're probably eating the right amount, i also try and eat my meals more slowly, especially when i only…
  • i'd happily drop a dress size and stay the same weight, it's only a number, but i dress shape is about loving your figure!
  • i agree! but at the same time if losing that 10lbs will make you feel better go for it... but as you binge eat, it's not exactly realistic, why not go for 3-4 and get your diet in check, that's the bit i find the hardest anyway!
  • you look great, i had a similar bad picture moment! me on the beach with my 8 month old boy and it looked like he was being held by a seal wearing my jeans! that was nearly 4 years ago, i still struggle to maintain my weight, but the more that came off the happier i got! from 15 stone down to 11 stone took 3 years. i'm now…
  • it's pancake day today, it's food and it's fast! here's hoping i keep them off the celling!
  • theres a song on youtube called weightless by the marconi union, that always gets me to sleep, but you have to be in bed and prepared to clear your mind, it might work for you too!
  • i wish i could hang about like that! i tried doing the monkey bars at the park with my boy and fell off after the third one! i should make it a goal, to get across the monkey bars, or to be able to hang upside down, it looks like a good calorie burning activity!
  • lol loved your bikini comment! brightened up my long day!
  • my mum, dad, son and sister all had take away when i was still at uni, came to pick up my little boy to take him home, sooooo many leftovers!! but i came home to my peanut butter sandwich, two apples and a carrot!
  • i've never made it to a healthy weight, but i liked being happy! 70kg is good for me and i'm 5'2" with shapely body structure!
  • No fast food February sounds good to me, I have to walk past loads of fast food on campus and it's hard work!
  • i got to a lovely weight last year.... since then i've passed my driving test, learnt how to make things like cheese cake and banoffee pie, stopped playing team sports and i'm in a happy and 'comfortable' relationship! i've had a year of letting things slip, time to shift it again, hopefully for the last time!
  • exactly, your husband will know you love him and thats all that counts! i can't wait to get a bit more attention again, it's a nice buzz!!
  • i have never been able to wear a bikini, but my mum who is several sizes bigger will wear one all the time! so i guess the answer is whenever you feel ready! xx
  • 5'1 and want to be 70kg might not be 'ideal' for everyone but it's where i'm happiest!
  • when i lost nearly 3 stone over 3 years i went from a 38G to a 34C-D which i was very very happy with no more backache no more spilling out of tops, much to my fella's dismay. although i've put a stone back on and only gone up to a DD which i'm still very happy with! but 4 more months and hopefully they'll be gone too.…
  • wow thats great. i got very upset recently as my perfectly normal son got listed as overweight by the school nurse... on the day they took the measurement he was 1lb in the overweight category. nobody pointed out that this didn't actually mean that he had a problem, and no one also pointed out that he's also taller than…
  • this is what i try and do! glad to see it can work so well for someone else!
  • click setting and tick show scale i think.
  • I quite agree, live and let live, eat and let eat. there are many valid reasons to be vegetarian, but also many valid reasons not to be. I love animals, especially sheep, cows and pigs, as i spend time on the farm it sometimes hits you that in a few months time that this is what you're going to be eating, but meat can…
