I'm 5ft 3in, so close to you taller 5ft 4in ladies!! I started in January at 205, and am currently at 171.5 (hooray!!) Looking to get to 150 and then see where I want to go from there.....I am large framed, and carry my weight pretty evenly all over. Good luck!:flowerforyou:

Hang in there and don't get discouraged...I usually don't even weigh myself during my TOM week...but I do keep on track with my diet and exercise, I know that I'll be bloated so I don't want to discourage my self by seeing that inflated number.... :flowerforyou:

Good for you!!!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's sometimes the mental things that push us to succeed...just breaking that first hurdle is a huge WIN!!!!! Keep up the great work!!! :flowerforyou:

Do not give up!! I could be so many different things that are slowing your progress, or maybe you just don't have that much to lose in the first place? Sodium can make you retain water, lots of other things can affect your weight....just keep going, if you are working out 6 days a week it's got to be having a positive…

That's awesome!!! I completely understand the shopping NSV's!! I have had quite a few of them recently!! I started in January in a size 18/20 (US) and now fit comfortably in a size 8 pants!! I have NEVER worn a size 8...well, maybe in middle school??? Keep up the great work!!:drinker:

I like the idea! Chili's really does mess you up if you are not super careful to pull the info BEFORE you go there!! And I'm a vegetarian, so even the "somewhat healthy" sounding options are high in calories!!!

Congrats!!! It's the best feeling when you can buy smaller sizes!!!! :flowerforyou:

I think I see the most success when I drink more water....so I'm shooting to exceed my water intake goal everyday this week....I'm a slow drinker for some reason, and it takes me ALL DAY to get the 8 cups down... :drinker:

When I started I was losing 3 or 4 pounds a week, but now that I'm well into my 7th month it depends...some weeks I lose nothing, some weeks I will lose 1.5 pounds..for some reason last week I gained 2 pounds...and was under my calorie goal the entire time.... :ohwell: I'm trying not to let it get to me, but it's very…

I have never seriously tried to lose weight before, I've been overweight most of my adult life...my husband and I both decided to change the way we were eating and found the MFP app one day in January...since then, we have been 100% dedicated, and doing it together has been the biggest reason we are both sticking with it,…

You really did step it up!!! Way to go!! :drinker:

First of all Congratulations on the 50 pounds lost! That is quite an accomplishment! :flowerforyou: Now, on to the slump...It does become tiresome to day in and day out have to think about everything you put in your mouth, and how much exercise you need to do to compensate for that special treat that you may want later in…

I've had quite a few, but most of them center around being able to fit into lower size clothes...that's where I really see my progress... 1. Shopping in the "non-plus size" section of stores!! 2. Going from a size 18/20 womens to a sie 8/10 in 6 months! 3. Wearing shorts in public for the first time in YEARS! 4. When I…

Great job! I love it when my "new" clothes are too big!!!

I've been giving them away as quickly as I can!! And then buying up new sizes right along with them...that's my reward for doing well, I like to clothes shop!!! So as soon as I can fit into the next lower size, I buy it!!
