Not really a 'newbie' to TF (week 11) but I'd love to keep in touch with anyone who's on the program. Send me a friend request! (TurboFire rocks, btw) :)

I was a vegetarian for 13 years and moved to a vegan lifestyle last summer. Since your daughter is still growing, I would consider speaking with a dietician to ensure she gets the right nutrients. Daily vegan multivitamins and B12 supplements are probably a good start, along with a healthy diet.

Sounds like the same one I have and it jumps a lot too. I'll weigh myself 3 times in a row and it's always a different number.

You look fabulous!!! Great work!

I've also just hit a plateau, I'm going to try and increase my calories (as I've been told this can help). I'm also trying to switch up my calorie distribution throughout the day - more calories in the morning/lunchtime and less for dinner/evening snacks. I'm part of the 'short girls challenge' too so feel free to add me…

I loved TurboJam but after a while, I found I wasn't feeling challenged. TurboFire certainly does the trick! It's like TurboJam on fast forward, excellent workout and because there is such a variety or workouts, you don't get bored. Highly recommended!

I prefer tofu, as long as you spice it properly you can make some really tasty meals with it. It's a great egg substitute for a 'scramble' in the morning too!

Amazing results so far! I just started TurboFire this week (I was a TurboJam junkie too) and I can't wait to start seeing results like yours. Great work!

Fantastic support! You've got a keeper :)

I just picked up some local fiddle heads and threw them in a pan with some Earth Balance margarine and fresh garlic. Makes a great side dish!

Daiya cheese is amazing! There are also some hard vegan cheeses, made from nuts http://www.dr-cow.com/products/ All the So Delicious frozen treats are great too (my favourite is Amaretto Cherry, made with coconut milk).

Try a multivitamin.

I know it sounds silly but if you're just starting out, try Richard Simmons 'sweatin' to the oldies'. When I was in university, this was the only video I could get my hands on and I lost 25lbs with it! When it got a little too easy, I just added wrist/ankle weights. If you're more advanced, try the turbojam series - I love…

Chipins! Just the plain old sea salt kind.

Hey, I've been a vegetarian for 13 years and last summer, I went vegan. I spend a lot of time looking up new recipes and I absolutely love experimenting in the kitchen. There are so many amazing cookbooks and websites out there too - I don't miss dairy or eggs one bit! Sample day for me: BREAKFAST- Wasa crisp bread with…

Sadly, I bought into it and have been on it twice. The last time was about 5 years ago and since that experience, I swore to never do anything like it again. Sure, I lost 30lbs quickly but it's not something that can be maintained and as soon as I introduced carbs back into my diet, I gained it all back within a few…
