  • thank you~ You'll get there too ; D Keep at it!
  • Not much. Going over in fiber is definitely no biggie if you're still feeling fine. Going low in sodium also is pretty much a good thing, as long as you're not cutting it completely. As for the protein to carbs ratio... it looks as if you're simply going on a lower carb diet right now. Also not necessarily bad. Just watch…

  • aw, beat me to it, I was about to suggest quinoa. Be careful though, quinoa is very rich in protein.. and calories. It may be similar to rice, but try not to treat them the say way.
  • Your body is getting stronger, more efficient and has adapted to exercise that your body once thought of as strenuous. It's a good thing. The next step is to up your workouts to bump your heart rate up accordingly.
  • Thank you for the advice, both of you :3
  • I consider myself a morning exerciser, but as a slow-to-action, straight out of highschool student, I tend start my work out at about 10-11, and it'll go on till around lunch time.. 12-1/2 Although today as a first I did a 80min run outside at 7:30 in the morning... Figured I'd stop fighting my early rising habit.
  • tagging for later reading. :3 thank you.
  • The more you go, the more comfortable you feel with it : D Going with my sister to work out also gave me more confidence to stick to the gym, maybe you should find a gym partner? There are the times when somebody might look your way, but as long as you're working hard, good god just take it as a compliment. They're…
  • Shorter gal wondering the same thing. My dream body type seems like it is not attainable by healthy means, and I'm naturally a little more muscular as opposed to long and lean. I would like to hear what people have to say :3
  • Usually there are really great tasting veggie stir-frys on the menu. I'd go for those. Celery, bokchoy, peas and a whole slew of other veggies mixed together. Yum. If you can help it try for an actual Chinese run Chinese restaurant. Where I live at least, the ones that are chinese run drench less and offer healthier…

  • haha, expect ghani to stop by this thread if she sees it ; D. I'm in the process of receiving p90x right now. I'm excited to try the workouts. Even if I don't burn or don't see the results as much as I'd like, I know their workouts are a great challenge.
  • Thanks everyone. :3 I`ll take a look at the site for races in my area.
  • Is it just me or is it a little difficult to find good races in the area you live? I guess its just a matter of a little research;; But I usually only hear of two major ones around here. And they're usually so huge and has such a turnout of people that its a little intimidating. Still, I'll have to look into that. :3 Thank…
  • It's a little pricey for what it can do for you. I got it as a prize though so I'm making the most of it. Its records a larger calorie burn and distance than the treadmill I use. So I'm not sure which one is correct. Neither does it have any way to gage your heart rate. But besides this I find it a huge motivator for when…
  • Flaxseed itself? Or the cereal? Mm. Well either way you can probably get both at most big grocery stores. I at least get it at Superstore.. But that chain is specifically Canadian.. So if you're in the US, I'm not too sure where you can get it.. Try larger supermarket chains and look in the organic sections? Or try…
  • Kashi Honey Almond and Flaxseed. Has been my addiction for months now<3 It's got a good amount of protein and fibre too. Maybe I should change it up.. But no :3
  • I think two of the dumbbell exercises I do work the shoulders, but what kind of exercises work for the lower and upper back? I've got the side ab workout you suggested going on already too :3 I've heard of spinning, but what is it? :3 I go on the bikes at the gym.. arc trainer.. etcetc Its funny, I actually tried to get my…
  • Thanks for the suggestions :3. Then. If I'm going to be focusing on toning instead of weight loss, can someone suggest how I should be changing my work out? Or if I should be at all? Currently I switch between weight and cardio days. Weight days I'll focus on leg press, abductor (theother..--ductor..), ab exercises,…
  • ;__; I'm short. shooortshortshort. 4'11 I can afford to lose a bit more.. ? Thank you for your concerns though ;3 I mean, more than anything, I'm working towards toning and shaping.. but being stuck on this plateau isn't making me very happy either;; And I'm eating right and exercising the pounds off D: So yus D:
  • I was wondering where you went off to :3 congrats on everything. Honestly, I dont even remember your username even though I could easily find out what it is. I just recognize your back.. ;_; ;;;;...
  • Thanks you guys :3 I guess it is a little silly of a question now that I think of it;; Of course that'd be what sprinting is ._. my bad;; I'll think up something, thanks again~
  • good job :3 Coincidentally, I'm exactly where you are too; Just started up again last week after a two week break. Just finished highschool finals, off to university in the fall : D I even used to cheerlead .___. Kind of doppelganger freaky; But welcome back anyways : D
  • haha~ Thank you : D
  • Well if its any consolation I eat chinese food every day.. ; D all jokes aside you shouldn't feel so bad. One day isn't going to throw you off completely, and in fact, may be productive to weight loss.. If you don't do it consistently and eat right the rest of the days. (throwing off the body's equilibrium and what not..…
  • Go to sleep. (Or. If its too early to sleep, do something that'll make you tired enough to go to sleep and forget that you're hungry. :3)
  • What the person above said :3 You need the core workouts to get the muscles, but you've got to do cardio to get rid of that stomach fat so the muscles you develop will show~ Also. If you've been doing core workouts every day, that might be a little detrimental. Muscles need rest time to heal and develop. I felt the same…

  • With all due respect, you seem to believe you can get through this with putting in minimal effort. That's not going to happen. You say you've tried to diet and that hasn't worked out for you. You say you don't like to exercise because you 'don't have time'. You need to set a goal, and go through with it. None of this…

  • Two weeks ago I did nothing but prepare for finals I spent last week going through 10 finals in 6 days. And now, I am finished : DDDDD So! As I haven't been to the gym in two weeks, I'm back. Jumping back on the boat. And I've gained almost two pounds back in the past two weeks.. ;__; I find that I'm a study.. eater ._.…
