  • i agree that you shouldnt reward yourself with food, for me i think it is a set back. i reward my self with trying a new thing such as hiking or like in Nov i will do my first 5K Mud run for hitting my first goal... things like that..... but thats just me food is my weakness (which is why i needed to lose weight)
  • I pre log. i feel that when i do that i tend to stick to my meal plan as desired and less likely to go and eat something i shouldn't. then i know if i am getting enough protein with my meals and snacks. When i don't pre log i tent to just eat what ever and then the whole day is shot.

  • i had the lap band 6 months ago and i am down 120lbs. i use it as a tool just like the RNY surgery is a tool. I choose to not have the RNY due to it didn't fit well with my life. So that is what i chose for me. How ever everyone is different and every one loses differently no 2 people are the same. You have to take a close…

  • I would have to agree... My husband noticed only after a large amount and my mom see's me on a daily basis as well and she didn't notice till after a large amount either. When you see the person on a daily basis its hard to see the little differences. So to help in the bathroom i have 2 jars with pretty rocks in them and…

  • You should be eating at least 800-1000 calories to lose weight healthy. Your body goes into starvation mode when it doesnt get at least 800. The average amount of calories you should in take is 800-1200 and if you are working out add another 200 on to that. I take in 1000-1200 calories every day with out working out and…
  • i had REALLY bad pain where my band was a few weeks ago and turned out that i had pancreatitis and gall stones and kidney stones and they have to remove my gallbladder. If it keeps up i would get it checked out. One thing i have learned with the band is to listin to your body.
  • I am doing better. A month ago i went into the hospital for a week or 2 and had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder and had pancreatitis and gall stones and kidney stones. So i was pretty sick and couldnt really do much. Had no fluid in my band for about 3 1/2 weeks and i didnt gain but i didnt lose... I got a fill…
  • I take Fiber Choice. They are chewable and work VERY well. They have sugar free ones that will help with getting you regular. Part of the constipation is the anesthesia, once that gets out of your system fully in a few weeks that should help to. And you arent eating as much or even solid food yet so dont be surprised if…

  • Check with your local pharmacy- they should be able to make it with an Rx. I know that my local pharmacy does it thats what i take. My Dr would rather have me take liquid and if thats not avail then a Gel cap breaks down faster and better in your body than a tab,
