Personally, I would cut out gluten and dairy for about a month and then reintroduce them one at a time for a couple of days with a break in between, as these are the most common food sensitivities. Food sensitivities are difference to food allergies and you will not always test positive to them on typical allergy tests.…

Agree 100% But I'm guessing you need some help figuring out what works for YOU, as obviously what you've been doing HASN'T worked for you?

I've been primal for about 18 months now. Total of 30kg fat lost & 5kg of muscle gained. Almost at my goal body composition. Personally, since going primal/paleo I no longer suffer from: Hormonal acne Hayfever (was chronic before) Digestion issues including leaky gut and casein intolerance Constipation Migraines Sinus…

Honestly, I would NOT rely on MFP's calorie recommendations. The general guideline is 10-12 times your body weight for weight loss. So, if you weigh 150 pounds you should be eating roughly 1500-1800 calories (usually the lower end of the scale if not very active and the upper end if more active). Obviously there are a lot…

Honestly, visit the Mark's Daily Apple website and read Primal Blueprint. You'll have the hugest "Aha!!!" moment of your life and never look back. I'm still losing weight at 2000 calories a day, go to the gym for 3 x 1 hour sessions a week, sprint once a week and just walk daily. There is DEFINITELY such a thing as too…

Both fantastic movies. Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead is free on Youtube.

Depends on how active you are as well, and how insulin sensitive your body is. A lot of variables but a general guideline for the general population.

You seem to eat wheat products most days, so I would try to eliminate it for at least a couple of weeks. I would also try to eat as many whole foods (meat, fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, good fats) as possible to get rid of the processed food. The human body simply doesn't know what the heck to do with all the chemicals…

Definitely. I no longer eat any grains whatsoever and the only time I ever bloat nowadays is PMS time or if I haven't been drinking enough water. It's a bit hard to make any good suggestions without looking at your food diary, but you may also have a food intolerance and/or gut issues. Do you take a good multi-strain…

Given your activity level, I would certainly raise your calories. They seem way too low. Rule of thumb is 10-12 times your weight in calories as a starting point. So, at 178lb your calorie intake should be up around the 1780-2136 calorie mark, depending on activity level. Coach Calorie does some great posts about this…

Yep, I'm in. My January Whole 30 wasn't quite as Whole 30 as I had planned towards the end of the month

I confess. I had to google rutabagas :blushing:

Not sure what your activity level is like, but your calories seem too low. No wonder you're hunger. Some good fats such as avocado, coconut oil, olives, etc would probably help if you're not already consuming them. Eat loads of fresh vegetables to bulk up your meals!

Check out the Mark's Daily Apple website, lots of useful info there.

A few great salad dressings with can be made in bulk in a shaker & transferred into small jars as you need it: Coconut Cream/Milk mixed with a small amount of sweet chilli sauce e.g. Trident. Balsamic Vinegar (caramelised is best), olive oil, seeded mustard and a touch of maple syrup. Asian Peanut Salad dressing: 1/4 cup…

I would try to keep the ingredients as natural as possible...the less ingredients the better.

I'm definitely up for February as well. Feeling too great to stop now!

Yep, I'd say your body is trying to get rid of those nasty built up toxins in your system. Make sure you drink plenty of water, especially with lemon/lime juice, and apple cider vinegar may also help.

Not sure if your issue has been fully investigated, but multiple food intolerances can indicate leaky gut syndrome. I tested off the charts for casein & dairy, with medium results for a few other things. Since healing my gut I have found that I can eat some dairy without any symptoms (I'm primal/paleo).…

I also use ghee instead of butter to avoid dairy as well.

Can of tuna...nuts...Sweet potato...fruit...boiled egg...veggie sticks with nut butter...

My absolute favourite meal at the moment is this Curried Apple Chicken Salad: http://stiritup.me/?p=3590 using this Paleo Mayo: http://stiritup.me/?p=156 I mix up a big batch of it then use it for the next day's lunch/dinner as well. Using a cold rotisserie chicken means you don't have to use any heat at all. With the…

I mix up my own Asian Style dressing using some melted coconut oil, lime juice, a dash of fish sauce, grated/jarred ginger, apple cider vinegar and sesame oil. It's divine, especially served on a Thai Beef salad with coriander.

Yay! It will be a good recovery period after the evils I will be drinking on New Year's Eve :drinker:

A Top Gear Festival ticket and a good rechargeable torch

^^ This! Just had a quick look at your food diary...not much in the way of vegetables. Understandably you're trying to stay low carb but some bulking veg such as incorporating a large green salad for lunch may just do the trick. I don't "go" anywhere near as much as I used to as I also believe my body is absorbing and…
