  • I'm not sure about the coochie stuff. But I know that the first place I gain weight is my face and neck area (meaning, double chin, BLEH) and my arms. Those are also the places I lose it first :)
  • I usually just do rock or hip hop songs when I go walking. I have a zero slow song playlist so all the songs I listen to are upbeat. I also have a cool down playlist that includes cheesy girl power songs like I get a little bit stronger by Sara Evans, Stronger Woman by Jewel, etc. because I use those as motivation to keep…
  • I just got done with day 2. I log it as circuit training :) I love this DVD! JM is really, REALLY good. If I knew my body could take the beating, I'd do workouts 3 times a day.
  • Day 2 is completed. I kept having to repeat my signature quote to myself as I was doing it. I wasn't really sure about it, but I love the at home workout with the DVD. I find that I am having to compete and defeat myself and my own negativity. At a gym, I look at other people, magazines, etc. and 'compete' against them.…
  • I'm up to this challenge. I'm already trying to avoid grazing at all hours but late night is the WORST time!
  • Just finished day 1 of level 1 and WOW what a work out! I have never had my butt kicked like that. Jillian strikes the right balance between motivation and sympathy- she's awesome! During the workout, though, I realized how much I wanted to lose weight and how much I had let myself go- leading to an emotional moment in the…
  • Mine are french fries- whenever I go out, I pretty much have to have fries. Not sure why but I can't let them go. I'd rather go without cheese & cream stuff than even dare eat a meal without fries. & soda, Dr. Pepper & Coke to be specific. Oh, and donuts.
  • I have a HUGE range on my iPod for working out. From Eminem and random rap songs to the blues and country. One song I found very nice to jog/run/fast walk, towards the end when you start to get tired, is "Running on Empty" by Jackson Browne. It fits your mood so well its hard not to get motivated.
  • WOW! You all look absolutely incredible. Definately the motivation I needed for sure!
  • Hi there! I just got started yesterday but I love it! Hopefully, you will also. Feel free to add me as a friend!
  • I love the honesty! This site should definately help me along the way!
  • Hi there! I noticed you mentioned your mother struggling with borderline diabetes. My father has type 2 and my uncle and aunt are almost there themselves. I've seen the day to day struggles of the disease and how the various side effects can effect your day to day life. Congrats on joining!
