How do you use the Slow and Heavy series? Do total body twice a week?

I didn't think 10lbs would be enough for biceps, but I had DOMS out the ears the next day! All the the reps...I couldn't sustain the moves with form at 12.5lbs. My arms are still sore. Circuit 2 today. I am ready!

Sweet.. I think I may get Slow and Heavy Series. It is an hour per workout? I can't seem to find the info online. It could be that I am just loopy from zero sleep and can't comprehend anything, atm! :yawn: :laugh:

I have adjustable weights that go to 25lbs. I needed the 25lbs for several of the leg moves. I would definitely purchase heavier weights, if you are able to do so.

What started me on this path was after losing 11lbs....MFP dropped my calories to 1380. I was hoping, at that time, to lose an additional 50lbs. The biggest difference I am noticing to my body is the size of my hips shrinking. I am on my last week of the Push phase. I don't do the ab routines because the floor work kills my lower back and neck. I need to add some type of ab routine in, but haven't been consistent in doing so, yet.

How much lighter are you lifting in Lean compared to Push?

Would it be detrimental to take a rest week after the Push phase before entering the Lean phase?

I had the weekend off and also, there is a week before repeating the same circuit. I know I haven't been getting the protein I need, but I would think that would affect my entire/overall performance.

Here is where I get confused.....when you take an exercise break do you eat at your exersice TDEE level even though not exercising? Also if you combine exercise and diet break....what TDEE level are you eating at?

I am ready for a break, but I have 6 more weeks of Chalean Extreme. I just have zero energy and I know my intensity isn't where it should be when exercising. I wouldn't change on the calorie front until you get the blood work test results back and get the doctor's opinion as well. Keep your chin up! There isn't anything written in stone.
