I did Warrior Dash last weekend and this weekend is Pat Tilman. I want to do a 10k or 15k by the end of the year.

I have gained 5lbs since doing Insanity. I am not going to worry about it. I know I am losing inches. Muscle weighs more than fat. Have her measure herself. She may not be eating enough or correctly. It does not matter if you are under your calories.

When you workout a lot you should be eating all the calories and drinking a good portion of water. You may of gain muscle which weighs more than fat. Don't go off the scale. Go on how you feel and how you feel in your clothes. Just a suggestion. Keep up the great work.

What is your HRM when you are doing Insanity? Each day you should be getting stronger but your HRM should be high since they are mostly intervals and cardio done.

There actually is a training for 5k, which is couch to 5k. I have not done that workout before but I do know a lot of people do it. I have done several 5k. You should get used to running in any weather because like someone said, you have no idea what the weather will be like.

They are so worth it. It is one of my new passions. Last year I did Warrior Dash, Gladiator run and a foam fest. I love them.

I have done serval 5k. You may want to do the program they call couch to 5k. I have not done it before but I know a lot of people have.

Good Morning, I did 12 races last year. I did 5k, 10k and mud races. I really don't look at the prices. I look at the experience. Think about what your goals are and what you want out of the races. The Color run is a great race. It is not timed. It is a great family race. Just know that you do stop where they have the color thrown at you.

You really need a HRM because I would not go off MFP. It always says you burn more. It will depend on how much intensity did you put in. You may think you are working out hard and you really are not. I have a support group on FB if you like to join at https://www.facebook.com/groups/208245232614146

You shouldn't be eating your exercise calories back. If you are burning lots of calories, you should have you intake high. What is your calorie intake right now?

What are you looking to do? Are you looking to tone or to build muscle? Anytime you are starting with lifting you are going to want to start with a light weight and move yourself up. What does the video say when you are doing the workout? Julianne
