6 miles this morning! That's the farthest I've ever run!!

I finally did CP3 this morning! I had so much fun and felt so energized doing it - maybe because I didn't get up extra early to do it!! Loved the variety on the video - I was really feeling strong! Hopefully going for a run outside later - it's beautiful out!! Lisette

Great! Thank you so much!

Does anyone have any info on the Chi Running book out there? I just saw it in a CD version and almost bought it but wasn't sure what it was all about. Any thoughts?

Janet, Tried the early morning thing to try out my new CP3 and I just could not do it! After 25 min, I wasn't even breaking a sweat and I wasn't into it at all! I felt soooo tired so I stopped and watched tv for a bit with my middle daughter. After a little breakfast, I tried getting on the treadmill to see if it was any…

Hello ladies, Just got CP3 in the mail! I can't wait to do it. Gotta find the time somehow today to do it. Crazy busy day of running around doing PTA stuff and the after school activities. Going to try real hard to get something in if it kills me! I tried getting up at 6 to do it but I just couldn't muster the energy. I…

Not too motivated this morning to TJ so I hopped on the elliptical for 35 minutes. Totally guilty free weekend - I ran 5 1/4 miles on Saturday! I deserved the low fat trifle I made for Easter!

I love my sauconys!

Just ran 5 1/4 miles this morning! I've never gone that far and I did it on the treadmill no less. Kind of boring but I can keep an eye on my kiddies while inside. It was snowing this morning!!

What program are you referring to that is helping you train for that? I'd love to get the infor for myself. I have been running now and am thinking of doing a 5K in June. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I'm looking to do a 1/2 marathon as well. Where would I go to print out a running schedule for that?
-
Wow! Really? I need to get me one of those HRM!! Thanks for the info.
-
Great Idea! Thanks - I"ll do just that and log it as low impact aerobics!

I do the Fiber One granola bars and also the Thomas English muffins makes a light whole wheat english muffin that's packed with fiber.

Finally got my PK& J and I just finished it- what fun!!! Can't wait to do it next time and be a bit more coordinated.

it's so frustrating! mine don't show up either and I'm really getting annoyed. I figure out the calories in Spark People than transfer all the info over. I may just use the Spark People site for everything!!

Megan, Thanks for the feedback! I can't wait to get PK&J. Is there anything else like Turbo Scupt that Chalene has out? Lower Body Jam sounds similar. No? Just wondering where to go next after PK&J. Thank you so much!

Hello everyone! I just got PK&J on ebay and I can't wait to get it in the mail. I'm totally hooked on Turbo Jam and feel guilty if a day goes by and I don't do it. I'm training to di a biathlon so on alternated days I run on the treadmill. Ab Jam is hard! I just did it yesterday for the first time in a long time. I guess…

No, I don't have a HRM just yet but I am looking for one. I did notice that my heart was pumping pretty good since I did TS right after the 20 min workout. That's why I was wondering. Any suggestions to figure it out without a HRM? Thank you so much.

I just completed the 20 minute Turbo Jam video and followed it with the 40 minute Turbo Sculpt. Can I count the 40 min Turbo Sculpt as "cardio calories burned"?
-
Oh, I see - it makes sense the way you worded it. Thank you so much. How do you determine the number of calories you burn at rest? I have 3 small children, so sitting on the couch for an hour is a so rare!

It's Friday - so wheat crust pizza for the kiddies and sushi for me and the hubby!

So,if my treadmill or elliptical says I burned 400 cal in 30 minutes (it's not one where you enter your weight), then when I put that 400 cal in my exercises, is that not right? What's this about subtracting resting calories? I'm new at this and kind of confused.
