:noway: Chocolate???? Oh my... Just kidding. That leaves more chocolate for me. I dont like cottage cheese...hominy....or popcorn. (I will on occassion eat popcorn but only at the movies) Seems everyone loves popcorn...I dont get it....all those kernels that get stuck and that greasy gunk on the roof of your…

The *****cat Dolls - I Hate This Part. Somehow i always manage to get to this song on my playlist when im about 20 mins into a workout...and it fits PERFECTLY. The lyrics are: The world slows down but my heart beats fast right now I know this is the part where the end starts I can't take it any longer Thought that we were…

What you have to do is buy one of those weight loss rings and a belly burner weight loss belt first. Then when you eat the canned salmon without the salmon, you actually lose it immediately! Plus if you eat the banana right afterwards it will load your body with the Vitamin Z and that blocks all calories from entering the…

I agree with these two comments. I have lost 25 pounds since October just by cutting my portions and exercising. I have not cut out any one food group or type completely. I just dont plan to live the rest of my life that way so why do it now? Why not go ahead and learn a new way to live for the long haul?

Tonight by Toby Mac : Hey! Everytime I try to go in alone I get shut down, Locked up and held captive in the clutches of my down We go back, we go forth, We go back I'm sick with vertigo Weary of my ways, my days My absent flow so I wanna feel a new day There's gotta be more than this I wanna live a new way There's gotta…

And you dont keep from getting 200 plus pounds by opening your diary for public view. I got to 200 plus pounds by not exercising, eating more calories than I needed, drinking too many sodas, etc. What works for you doesnt work for everyone. I am glad that logging calories and leaving it open helps you but it doesnt…

I totally disagree that people who have their diaries closed will not be as successful. I have mine closed because its a tool for me. Some weeks I dont even log my foods on MFP. I dont plan on logging my foods for the rest of my life so im trying to train myself to monitor my calories and portions in a way that I can stick…

If I looked at my food log every day and only had 5 things listed on there I would freak out. Im glad this is working for you but just wait until you clean up your eating some...you will feel like you are eating all the time rather than 2 meals a day. So many things you can eat that are WAY less calories than half a pizza.…

I have had my fitbit for over a year now. This is how it works: On the Fitbit website you enter your weight and age and height and it "guesstimates" your calorie burn for each activity based on your steps. The fitbit I have (the older one) tracks steps, miles traveled (after you enter your stride length), and calories…

I also retain about 5 pounds around TOM. No fun but it usually goes quick. I just try not to stress over it too much around then. But I do have a tremendous appetite then as well so I have to make sure I make healthier choices so I dont keep that 5 on!

Its averaging to be 2 a week. Some weeks nothing and some weeks 3 lbs. But since October 3rd I have lost 14 lbs.
-
I think when it has reminded me in the past I just ignored it because my goals are the same (to lose 2 lbs a week). Never thought about the fact that calories would change.

Good idea. Thanks! :)

^ THIS is me exactly! Been overweight my whole life and dont want the scales to go back up this time!!!

I use www.workoutmusic.com. The music they have are not songs performed by the original artists though, they are remixed to pump up the tempo. You choose what type of workout you are doing or what you want your heart rate to be and they have lists of songs you can add. Most of the stuff I buy have about 10-12 songs for…

I forgot to mention that the fitbit does track sleep. And on their website (like MFP) you can track your calorie intake and see charts showing your intake vs. burned. And for $99 it was the best choice for me. You can manually go in and change activites that are tracked or if you forget to wear the fitbit for certain…

On the Fitbit website you enter your weight and age and all that and it "guesstimates" your calorie burn for each activity based on your steps. The fitbit I have tracks steps, miles traveled (after you enter your stride length), and calories burned. If I dont put my fitbit on in the morning it will still show calories…

I also get up at 5 and go to the gym before work. Ive noticed that I can actually shower and get ready quicker at the gym than I can at home. I used to go in the evenings but that is time taken away from my family, so when I go in the mornings they are all usually still asleep. It works out better for me. No, Im…

I would have to say batwings! Please get them off of me!!! :) Also I have a funny story about the clavicle that I just have to share. Last night my husband and I were watching a little TV before going to bed. A rather thin woman was speaking and he looks at me and says "What is wrong with her neck?" And I said…

We did the Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less program at my job. Its a 15 week program that included different sessions to help us learn about healthier meal options, recipes, and about meal planning. It also included three 30 minute exercise programs per week that taught us things we could do at home (or in our office) with…
