Hi all, I'm Jenny. I always see these threads and mean to post, but always forget. I definitely need somemotivation so thought i'd join in with you guys  Now the weather's started to turn nice i'm trying not to fall into the same trap I did last year (started drinking and eating far too many BBQ's). Feel free to add…

I had spinach and butternut squash curry. Turned out to be much more filling than I thought it would be.
-
These sound pretty good, thanks for posting :)
-
Sounds scrummy, i'll definitely be trying this sometime.

I agree, food scales are the bomb. I don't know what I did before I had mine, I weigh everything now!
-
Wow, you really look outstanding! I would not be able to tell those were before and after photos, i thought it was different people! Well done, you're amazing!
-
You look so great, you can definitely see the difference. You're doing so well!
-
*drools* definitely on my to do list!

I'm taking Mirtazapine, think it's known as Remeron in the US, for deprfession/anxiety/sleep. One of the side effects is an increase in appetite. I'm absolutely ravenous all the time since I had to increase my dose, but I've also noticed my weight loss has really slowed down a lot.

Sam, you look totally fab. You can really see a difference, not just in your body but you look so much happier and confident. You're doing awesome girl! :flowerforyou:

One Ryvita and cottage cheese and a banana. Thought the cottage cheese might make me feel full but nope, i'm absolutely ravenous today.

This thread is making me hungry  For me it's a large bowl of nachos with sour cream/salsa/guacamole/cheese. I used to eat these all the time, I looked on the menu last night and it was 1460 calories and 8.9 grams of salt (i don't know how to calculate the sodium but I know it's a hell of a lot). The only thing I can…

I'm 5'8 and also aiming for about 150, maybe a little more or a little less. I've still got a long long way to go yet though.

Oh I agree, some hot chocolates are just disgusting, I think why waste the calories :grumble: For me, this weekend, I got a free sample of a low calorie chocolate bar. I wish I could remember what it's called to warn people away from it. It was a foul, loathsome, evil little thing that tasted like ash. The single worst…

Well done!

carrots houmous bananas cottage cheese spinach grapes as long as I have these I seem to stay on track!

Count me in. I started at 227, now down to 207 (maybe more since I splurged at the weekend and havn't weighed in yet :embarassed: ) My goal weight is 150lb, or thereabouts, really whatever weight i'm most comfortable with, so still a long road ahead!
-
I've seen this before, it lead to me weighing pretty much everything. This time last year I was eating easily 100g (4oz) of pasta at a time, and I what I thought was 10g (.30oz) of cheese was actually more like 50g (2oz)! It's quite shocking how much over you can go without realising! Great post
-
Homemade strawberry and banana milkshake, mmmmm. Still have one snack left to go today, not sure what to have yet though.
-
Another UKer, from Cambridgeshire. Feel free to add me

207.4lb which is no change for me. Rather frustrating that there's no change but guess I gotta keep on with what i'm doing. Grats to everyone, the losses and the gains, you're all working so hard :flowerforyou:

There are so many things I used to eat that I now eat and they just don't taste as great, or don't taste fgood enough to match the calorie count. Mcdonalds fries, crisps (chips) and a lot of chocolates. I'd rather eat fruit.
-
Awesome idea, and grats to all on your NSV's Mine - last Friday it was quite cold out in the evening so before I left I went to get my jacket, on a whim I grabbed one my mum bought me a few years ago and it would never zip all the way up. It zipped all the way up and was pretty comfy too, great feeling

Yes! This is my absolute favourite way to kill the chocolate cravings. It's sooo unbelievably good.
