Someone needs to lighten up.

Need a sandwich, thanks.

If they are hurting then I highly suggest you replace them immediately. I don't think breaking them in by walking is a great idea either, but ultimately they shouldn't be hurting. As far as another analysis, I definitely recommend it (I do it before I buy each and every pair of shoes I buy), but I would go to an…

I always do a run/walk interval exercise during all of my runs, including my 2 marathons and 5 half marathons. I highly recommend it and I think you'll be fine as long as your calf is fully healed.

I'd say no and get out.

That despite being slightly depressed today I haven't gone too crazy with my eating and still will be under my calorie count.

Nope, don't like dudes

I'm doing Dopey, I did Goofy in 2012 and it was an awesome experience.

I'm usually doing a mixture of the following: Running/Biking/Elliptical: Forcing myself to not look at the clock to see how long I have left in an interval Reminding myself why I'm doing this (accomplishment of long races, skinnier body) Laughing at what's on tv in front of me (if on treadmill) Singing along in my head…

Honestly, you are already doing everything right, who cares about the July deadline? At 5'4" and around 130 you are great already. No need to try anything rash to speed up the 1/2 to 1 pound per week loss, let that happen for the next 12 weeks and you'll be fine in time for your trip.

Both dresses look great, but seriously is it that much to ask for him to put his phone away? My wife and I go out from time to time and she's awful with the phone and there are some times when I just say "phones stay in the car" when we get to the restaurant and she's learned that it means she needs to pay attention to me…

Everything this man just said.

Umm...yes, being fat IS a conscious lifestyle choice. Did you never have health class growing up? I remember having to take it every year and in each one they taught us what was right and wrong, what was healthy and not. The fact of the matter is you ARE blaming society and removing personal responsibility. Is it easier to…

I'm feeling sort of sick today and I'm feeling guilty that I likely won't go do my run tonight, so yes.

I signed up! I'm very excited, but I'm not happy about the Nov 1 cut off for corral times. I now have to find a minimum of a 10 mile run before Nov 1 (I was planning on using the Space Coast half on Dec 1 to get my corral starting position).

Hi new to the group! I ran the Marathon in 2011 and the Goofy in 2012 and am signed up for the Dopey in 2014!

Another Knight here! I got my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies (Math and Comp Sci) with a history Minor in 2003 and then got a MS in MIS in 2006

When I'm tracking things (I don't track every day, probably 5-6 days a week depending on what life is throwing at me) I measure everything.
-
Outside is much better, but I generally do inside all of the time because of the weather (it's Florida, it gets hot) and the treadmill helps me control my pacing better.
-
Awesome work! Enjoy the first half marathon, the feeling of accomplishment at the end is the best!
-
Running on the treadmill, I watch TV during it, but really I spend the time letting my mind wander. When I'm running outside I just put on music and think about a lot of things.

Sup?

I knew I was hooked when I turned down going to lunch because I couldn't find a good enough representation of the food I'd eat in the database and couldn't take the chance that it had more calories than I'd expect.

There is a lot decent to eat there, the problem is they don't publish their nutritional information so you have to guess.

Good for you! Sometimes you just have to say no! Don't make it a habit though, sometimes you have to indulge or else what fun is living?

Wow, huge change, well done!
