5'7" at 142 is a healthy weight, losing 14 pounds without exercise isn't likely, at least not in a healthy way.

Cool story bro

I suck at push ups, but I could be down with getting better at them, what kind of challenge are you thinking?

Nothing feels better than how you feel after a good workout. I've got no issues with eating donuts as well, it's just a matter of maybe 1-2 per week instead of 2-3 per day (which is what I was on at one point). Just like anything, it's all about moderation.

I generally don't talk about things like this, but I'm a more private person. BUT, now that I'm down 17 pounds year to date I'm getting asked a lot about it and I'm more than happy to discuss it! I also make it clear that I'm not done and that I have 30 more to go. Really, once I'm told that someone can notice it, I am…

I personally stick with the MFP recommendations, haven't even looked that closely to the Apple Watch's details that you are looking at, I use it mostly for my workouts and determining how much I burn and making sure I hit my goal before leaving the gym. That being said, the Apple Watch is probably more accurate than the…

The gym is 2 miles from my home, but it's about 30-45 minutes from work, I just stop there on my way home from work so that I don't give myself to get comfortable at home!

My parents are both in the same industry as I am and I always loved doing IT related things. It was just natural for me, I knew what I wanted to do since I was 5 years old and, for the most part, I'm doing exactly what I always wanted to do and I enjoy it just as much as I always thought I would. I know that doesn't help…

I can't imagine wanting to eat my kid's leftovers. I don't get the urge to do so and I have no idea why anyone would want to.

I was bored on an elliptical in a hotel gym while traveling for work

I don't even know what dad jeans are, but I'm a dad and probably wear them

I take at least one conference call each day from my cell phone and walk around the building or around the small little pond/lake that we have here. I usually leave the office with around 6-7k steps.

As others have mentioned, I don't focus on macros. I know some calories are better than others, but ultimately it's calories in calories out and I just limit the amount of the bad food I eat (i.e. instead of having a whole bag of cheetos I pour out one serving, count those calories and eat that when I feel the need to…

I use a protein shake, similar to Shakeology, in chocolate flavor. Do one scoop of that, 1 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk and a handful of ice cubes and it's fantastic.

I'm at 193.6 right now and I want to be under 175. Was up to 218 at one point so I'm feeling good compared to that, but still know that under 175 is when I'm happiest. Ideally I'd like to get under 170, but not sure that's possible with my build.

This is the correct answer.

RunKeeper is by far the best that I've found.

I'm at 162 today!

I've had good luck with it in the past when I used it, but it's not a long term solution and really not something you should come to depend on. But yeah, I've had a doctor prescribe it to me and monitor my activity on it and been satisfied with it's progress

I enjoyed it, I used it as a daily breakfast, just the chocolate powder, almond milk and ice. It tasted good enough and was like 160 calories, so a nice light breakfast. It didn't make me feel any better, other than I was full in the morning and not getting donuts or sodas to start my day.

From all of the family Thanksgiving dinners I've ever been at, with multiple families, I don't think it's an exaggeration at all and 3,000 average calories sounds about right.

Not so much making unhealthy options as choosing restaurants differently. I generally won't go to one that doesn't publish this information unless I'm left with little other choice.
