Haha, I always wish I had a brother! No such luck! Don't get me wrong, if both were single there are a few I'd seriously consider risking it for, but most likely would refrain

March 28 - 2.710 miles, total 53.360 miles!

I did the Goofy Challenge in 2012 and it was an awesome feeling when you crossed the finish line.

I know if I'm going to go over that I don't even bother trying to log it. Like tomorrow I'm going out for Japanese, I know that I'm going over my 1,850 calorie count so I'm not even going to bother trying to figure out just how many calories I consume during the dinner.

Yep, I've always had a very high one, it only gets higher the more I work out.

Do you have a local running store in your area? The best thing you can do for your feet is to go to a running store where they specialize in running shoes and have them look at your walk and fit you for the best shoes possible.
-
How long did it take you to break the last pair in? Everyone is different, I've always gotten shoes that are perfect for my feet that I've never really had to take much time to break them in.

I used to have a Garmin 405 and loved it, but the battery died and it's not user replaceable and the cost to get it replaced didn't make sense since my wife had an earlier Garmin and phone GPS systems were working just fine. That being said, I am slowing putting my toes back in to the market for a new watch so that I can…

I prefer female friends to male friends to talk about many different more sensitive and potentially embarrassing subjects. It never matters to me what they look like though. I doubt I would ever do anything with any of them even if we were both single because I wouldn't want to ruin my friendship with them, doesn't mean…

I always get naked and do it at the same time every day. It really doesn't matter as long as what you do on day 1 is what you always do.

I have goals at each 5 pound barrier (based on my 15 day moving weight average not my weight on a given day to account for fluctuations). Some of them are "1/2" of a goal meaning that my wife has to hit her corresponding goal to get the reward. 210 lbs - Pedicure (done) 205 lbs - New paper shredder (done) 200 lbs - 1/2 of…

Haha, oh it wasn't just that, but that was definitely a factor, she was a crazy health nut and I was not. I know I'm for the better and she did me the biggest favor anyone has ever done for me. The two best things to ever happen to me were getting dumped by her and getting laid off by my old company, both taught me…

I have a gym in my community, there is usually nobody there, but when there is someone there it's usually 1-2 cute girls, so that's nice, but I'm usually just focused on the show I'm watching on the treadmill.

When my ex wife dumped me she told me "you are too fat to have sex with" (mind you, I was 5'11" and 200lbs at the time). I was already in the midst of losing weight (down 10 at that point), so I just continued to lose the weight for myself. I'm lucky I haven't had to see her or deal with her in 3 years, but as a whole, I…

Welcome, the best part of this site is that it makes me think twice before I eat anything. Also, whenever you are tempted to eat something high in calories, sugar, whatever, just think of what you felt today at the doctors! Also, remember, you are going to stumble, just don't let one stumble turn in to a roll down a hill.

You can tweak the settings to lower that or you can just ignore the carb amounts in your daily goals and focus on the protein and calories. I know my main focus is always on the calories and I only check on things like fiber and sodium to make sure I'm getting enough and not too much, respectively.
-
I drink a TON of water, so it's not that hard for me to cut out the soda. That being said, I've built one can a day in to my calorie budget and just deal with it. I just like to have something different and I'm not a fan of tea or coffee or really much anything else.

I use Run Keeper, but I'm always open to new, better, solutions.

2.492 today, completing my 50 goal for March with 50.920 miles!

Awesome job! Great for you! Also, love the Phillies hat hanging on the door knob!

Not a smoker, but I'm currently on week 6 of the program. I'm repeating one of the days over and over again right now because I don't really like how quickly it jumps in to the long runs (plus my social schedule has made it hard to run consistently enough these last two weekends to plow through). Currently I'm at the point…

You've cleaned it, you are fine.

You aren't missing anything, they are covered in glaze and WAY too sweet (at least to me, give me a Dunkin Donut any day of the week).

Everyone does it differently, what I do is weight myself daily, punch it in to my spreadsheet and look at the 15 day moving average (basically the average weight for the last 15 days). As long as that number keeps going down I know I'm on the right path and that the daily fluctuations from drinking too much water or…

In 2011 I used brand new shoes for the Disney full marathon, never had worn them before and had no issues with them after. I then proceed to rotate them with my other new pair of identical shoes.

When I got my divorce, after the real estate market crashed, the court wrote the divorce in such a way that I had no legal responsibility for the remaining mortgage.

I always use the numbers on the treadmill, they read my HRM throughout the exercise and make me put in my weight before starting so I feel more confident in their totals than if I were to just use the watch that came with my HRM and I have to say MFP is usually pretty close (granted that's when I'm running, haven't really…

The next major race I have circled on my calendar is the Space Coast Half Marathon on December 1st. http://www.spacecoastmarathon.com I'm sure I'll do a few races between now and then, but none that I'm focused on getting a good time for.
