If you don't participate then the cost to you for the same "base benefits" that I would have would be higher than the cost I'm paying since I'm participating.

Exactly, people who are healthy and take care of themselves (i.e. no smoking) shouldn't have to shoulder the burden for those that don't. I used to work with a company that would fire you if they found out you smoked at all, then they got bought by a larger company and it changed to just a premium on your healthcare, but…

True I've never done a triathlon.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this.

I average about 6 liters a day (equivalent to about 24 glasses of water). My daily personal goal is 8 liters each day.

They give a lot of good advice, but if you expect to lose the weight that the contestants are losing each week then you really have another thing coming. For people who are smart and know how to take things off it's an entertaining show, especially to see the contestants "get it". The bottom line though is that it's…

I thought that they all looked pretty good and did a good job at home. This is how much they lost at home: Danni - 26 Jeff - 58 Jackson - 40 Joe - 22 Gina - 29 Alex - 31 Francelina - 39 Michael - 45 David - 45 Lisa - 71 Pam - 51 Cate - 45 Nathan - 74 TC - 95 Not sure how long they were home, but these are much more…

Don't let anyone else's opinion bother you, if you like her then go for it! As someone said, once you get through the early 20's the age difference really makes no difference.

One serving of goldfish is about 55 pieces and adds up to 140 calories. It's up to you if you count the 10, but that's about 20% of a serving so it would be around 28 calories. If you are always right up against your calorie goal then I would consider adding it, if you routinely are 100-200 calories below the goal then I…

Daily weight fluctuations are normal and expected. I weigh in every day and track my weight but I focus on the 15 day moving average, as long as that's always going down I know I'm making progress.

You are doing great! 1 pound a week is a great and healthy weight loss and you are ahead of that! I know it can get frustrating when the first few pounds might fall right off and it feels like you've hit a plateau but remember that it's better to do it slow and steady.

They play a HUGE role in running injuries. Every time I need to replace my running shoes I go to my local running store and have them re-fit me for a pair of shoes that will match my feet and running style. I HIGHLY recommend you do this.

For my final goal my wife and I are rewarding ourselves with a weekend at a very expensive ($500/night) resort without our daughter, just the two of us.

My goal is 1870, I usually don't hit that, but I try to get close. I'm having nice, slow, steady, loss and I'm not cutting things out that I enjoy.

The correct answer is both. Personally I prefer cadio because I enjoy running and am working on upping my endurance so I can lower my half marathon time this year. I also am very intimidated by lifting for a few reasons, 1, I have no desire to get "ripped". 2. I really have no clue what I'm doing when I use some of the…

I think that this is the best advice, at times guys are stuck in a no win situation there. If he says how much he likes that he worries that you'll think he's not attractive now (no matter how much you might assure him, he's going to worry that), so he might say "eww" when in reality he'd like it. The best advice I can…
