They say going under the calories per day can put your body in starvation mode....which means you body is goint to slow your motabolism and store fat.... keep your calorie count up to your minum reqirement. (I am having the same problem)

Is there something you can 'snack' on in the car after your workout? That would really help you not feel so hungry as your fixing dinner
