She is just voicing her opinion. In her opinion she doesn't want to look muscular. That's fine. Some women are like that. My mom is too. I'm sure she means no offense to others who want to look that way. She just wants a different type of shape. Lay off peeps. :grumble:

I got fat against my will. When I was a baby I was very tiny and a neighbor said jokingly to my mom, "Wow. She's so tiny. Aren't you feeding her?" she took it as an insult to her mothering skills and way overfed me and my brother. so by the time I started kindergarten I was 100 pounds. after my dad died she really overdid…

I think it's possible. I stopped exercising for months and for the past three weeks I've been back at it. I felt better after the first workout. :)

Just keep an eye on it. If this keeps happening for another week I'd eat more or exercise less.

If you combine cardio and weight lifting you can be a lean muscular man. :)

I start out on the elliptical for anywhere from 30 mins to an hour because that's my favorite. Then I go over to the weight machines and stay there for like 20 mins or so. Then I go on the stationary bike for 20 mins or so. Then I'll go back over to do the other half of the weight machines. Then I'll go on the arc trainer…

usually nothing. I keep breakfast and lunch close enough together that I don't get hungry. I usually get hungry before dinner and if I snack it's then.

If you stop working out every time you get sore you'll never get to the point where you aren't sore from workouts. It's kinda like with glasses. The first day you wear them you get a headache but if you keep it up, you will adjust and won't get headaches anymore. I have the same theory with exercise.

If that's what you did to get your other weight off, your body may be used too that by now. If so you hit a plateau. You may need to either up the intensity, up the time or completely try something new. :)

I go to planet fitness too. :) The cool thingy is all cardio takes over weight evenly all over. Even if you're working your arms and legs its still shrinking your tummy too.

These are all really great changes over a teensy 30 days! I bet you guys feel great.

Every week should help to keep you on track but not drive you insane watching the numbers go up an down. Also make sure you do it at the same time under the same circumstances each week. Like maybe you could do it every Friday after you wake up after you've went to the bathroom.
