GREAT GOING! I know eating at a buffet is hard; there is so much to choose from. Awesome use of will power. Keep at it like that and you will make significant progress in no time.

I was traveling this past week and didn't pack enough clothes so I went to Old Navy and bought a pair of jeans in my usual size. They are baggy, I have to pull them up all the time. WAHOO! I didn't even think to look at another size. I think that I am worried that if I try another size, I might get disappointed that they…

I bought a Danskin 5# Kettlebell (they have other sizes), it came with a DVD. It's reasonably priced (Walmart). With kids I know time to do the routines can be difficult but, this DVD is about 20 minutes per session. 25-30 minutes with the warm up. I've used it several times now and I love it. You can feel that your…

I know how you feel, I've been there. I was told by my elders not to dwell in it it's not good for you. It's okay to feel bad and even wallow in it for just a little while(and I mean a little while), just don't let it consume you. These things are traumatic, and there is a time of grieving. But recognize it, know it for…

I'm going to watch what I eat and cut my carbs and stay within my calorie limits. I joined the 30 minutes/30 days challenge. Exercise a lot more. Right now, my favorite exercise is snow shoeing, totally enjoying the fresh air. I also want to do more of the kettlebell exercises to tone my upper body. Good luck everybody.

I started using Noom (an app on my Android phone) and losgt 10+ pounds with it in a few months. I like how it breaks food into 3 categories, Green (good), Yellow (okay) and Red (Not so good). The calories for it are a guesstimate. But, it did teach me to eat healthier, you know, that subliminal red is bad thing. I believe…

LIKE, LIKE, LIKE. I wish there was a like button on here. Slow and steady is best. I did a 3 day Juice Fast while I was at a health spa doing a major detox, it was monitored by a nutrionist there. It isn't any fun. I did like how I felt after the 3 week detox and lost 20#, but, it wasn't something that I could maintain…
