I have gone from 184 lbs to 154 lbs in weight and from a size 18 (UK) to a size 14 (UK). I can fit in some UK size 12 trousers but these are cheap trousers where I would suggest the sizing is probably iffy. I am finding around 10lbs in weight loss equals a drop in jeans size.

Thank you!

I mix half a tablespoon of olive oil and two tablespoons of vinegar (I vary which kind), a grind of pepper and either a little crushed garlic or english mustard. Tasty and fairly low cal.

Taking photos for future reference when you are eating out is a habit I have gotten into and it does work. That plate of food looks great and not calorific at all! I would stab at 200 calories.

I totally vary my calorie intake from day to day, some days super low other much higher, but averaging 1,200 a day. I'm currently managing to lose 2 lbs a week. I think it's good to vary how much you eat each day to keep your metabolism guessing. On high calorie days though the foods I choose to eat are still low…

I make my own soup in batches and then freeze. That way I can just grab a portion out of the freezer and I have variety for the week. Low in calories, good for you and tasty.

You look amazing! Congrats and good luck losing your final 11lbs.

If you don't like the texture of cottage cheese you could try Skinny Crowdie, it's a Scottish low fat soft cheese which isn't as runny or gloopy. I can buy it north of the Border but not sure about south,

They do but the use has to be justified unlike non-organic farming, therefore there are fewer pesticides used generally.
-
Buying organics isn't just about the potential benefits of consuming fewer pesticides or antibiotics etc, it's about supporting farming practices that are better for our environment! That is totally worth the slightly higher cost IMO. I ONLY do organic milk and dairy products and I was told that it is important to eat…

I'm all for ethical food production, be it vegetables, grains or meat. Vast quantities of pesticides (herbicides & insecticides) are used to produce grains and vegetables which have a negative impact on our environmeny, just look at soy and corn production as examples. Organic food production methods reduce the amount of…

Ditto! Olive oil is good for you so I usually use up to a tablespoon of olive oil and two tablespoons of vinegar.

I use mixed salad leaves, including spinach, rocket, watercress as they are better nutritionally with red peppers, spring onions, cucumber, grapes, boiled salad potatos, boiled egg, baby capers, blanched asparagus and blanched fine green beans. The dressing is what makes a salad delicious. I generally mix 1 tbsp of olive…

Carrot sticks, red bell pepper and low fat hummus for me, loving clementines at the moment too!

My staple is granary toast with butter and marmite. Otherwise I have quick cook porridge with honey & fruit, or low fat yohgurt fruit & honey. At the weekends I have scrambled eggs.

Sorry just tried linking to a post I made yesterday regarding a lovely baked aubergine I cooked yesterday but it didn't work!

I switched from white bread to seeded granary. I find it hard to lose weight while eating white pasta & white bread, plus I feel bloated after eating. I have granary bread toasted in the mornings, if I have white then I am hungry within an hour.

Thanks Sophiepoo. I guess you eat it over the course of the week then? Do they last/stay fresh well?
