  • I asked the same question on Facebook a few months ago, and someone gave me a great idea that really worked for me. Program your coffee to start when your alarm goes off. the smell and promise of caffeine is usually enough to get me moving.
  • The stretching areas in my gym are super-limited. I have seen two girls having an all-out picnic in one area. A girl laying on her stomach/elbows, reading a book like she was on her couch. And a couple who brought nearly every piece of equipment from the personal training station and set up some sort of obstacle course. A…
  • I live in NYC and go to NYSC. It's not as good as Equinox or anything like that, but it is what it is. Standard price is $80 a month, but I get a discount through work that makes it $50. They have plenty of barbells, dumbbells, weight equipment. etc. I know there's Synergy and Boom Fitness which are cheaper (I think) but…
  • I have yoga meltdown and is is HARD. Especially if you watch the advanced person. I also like MTV Power Yoga.

Right now I'm working on speed instead of distance so I'm hoping to increase that running speed to around 6.0.
  • I'll just chime in with everyone else and agree on most points. I, too, am confused as to how your kids' activities are every single night. That seems excessive. I'm not a mom, though. You can definitely fit in a workout on your lunch break, and eat at your desk. I do this when I have something going on at night and can't…
