You look great :) What did you do?

Awesome! Congratulations to you and keep up the great work!

I went to the store last night specifically for Hummus :) I picked up the Sabra Roasted Garlic. I tried it on a triscuit cracker. I thought it tasted OK, but REALLY strong garlic flavor. I wanted the roasted red pepper, but they were out. Can you eat it warm? My hubby didn't care for it and thought it would be better if it…

^^ THIS! But It is only on my inner calf on my left leg. Strange. I got fitted for new shoes because I was having awful shin pain in my left leg when running. Now, no shin pain, but killer calf pain! It is to the point where I actually limp after my runs. I am hoping in another few days/weeks it will go away, as it doesn't…

Thanks everyone :) I just looked up some recipes and it appears ridiculously easy to make! I may have to try making some this weekend!

I am planning on getting this DVD this week. What size dumbbells do you all use? I know I have some 2 lb weights at home that will work for now, but I'm thinking i might want something a little heavier eventually. Just curious what others have used.

You've got some great advice here! Good luck to you! I am also training for my first ever 5k in September. Feel free to add me if you like!

Looking good :)

@ melsinct - I know I need to eat the calories that MFP calculates, but half the time I get to the end of the day and realize I still have a few left, and am not hungry. I guess I just have to plan a little better ahead of time. @ renstwin - This week was BAD for eating out :) I normally don't eat out that much! Thanks for…

Bump Any reviews on this out there ?

A lot of times over the past few weeks, I have found that the real struggle was in my head. I got so worried about moving on to the next week and those daunting longer runs. But each and every time, I moved on and found that I am so much stronger than I give myself credit for! :)

Jog as slow as you possibly can, and repeat as needed. When I started C25K (the beginning of January), I could barely jog for 30 seconds. I am now able to jog 15-20 minutes (my speed is only at 4-4.5 mph). I was 30-40 lbs overweight when I started. Don't worry about how long it takes you to complete it - the important…

WOw! That is one scary measuring device :)
-
Thanks everyone for your input! I guess I'll talk it over with the hubby :)

I like that idea, but sometimes I can't avoid taking my kids with me. My oldest is 7 - and he will be able to ride his bike. I went out for just a walk tonight with a friend, and pushing our big Graco was a PITA!

^^^ THIS!!! 100% If I deprive myself, I am setting myself up for failure!

Thanks everyone!

You look beautiful!

How awesome for you! Keep up the great work! I'm working on a 5K myself. I am almost there :)

I just mixed up a batch of this over last weekend. I used a box of Betty Crocker white Angel Food cake mix and Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge cake. 3 T of cake mix and 2 T of water are 117 calories. I added in Reese's PB chips for another 80 calories, and that, my friends, was a delicious and filling snack! I have my recipe…

Bump as I have the same questions regarding zones and my true max heart rate. I also use the FT7

Way to go!

OMG! You don't even look like the same person! Amazing transformation! You are gorgeous!

Holy hotness! You are beautiful! Way to go!

I saw some family on Friday evening that I haven't seen since New Year's - which was consequently, right before I committed to running and joined MFP. They were amazed at how I look and kept asking me questions on how/what I'm doing. It made me feel so good. Also - I think I'm inspiring my husband to join me!
-
It bases your calories burned off of your heart rate no matter what activity you are doing. It is water resistant up to 30 meters. I personally only use it when I'm doing cardio. I don't use it when I'm doing strength training, but you could.
-
Thanks everyone! I just don't want to over-estimate my calories burned, but I agree, it should be the most accurate from my HRM because obviously, it knows how hard I'm working!
-
Thanks! I guess I've been underestimating my burn every time I workout then - by a huge amount!

Bump!

I just ordered mine from bodytronics.com with the POPO code, and my bill was $58.79. Now, I just have to WAIT!
