I will get a side stitch if I drink too much water or jog too fast. Also, be sure you don't eat anything for at least 2 hours before you run. Good luck!!

Awesome story and great job on the weight loss!! I have a friend who lives 800 + miles away but we talk almost everyday and have helped each other through our weight loss journey!! Without her support and friendship I would be lost!! :)

Gallbladder?? Might have an inflamed one although I am not sure why it would bother you during exercise.

I enter my run and walk times separately.

I am not an expert on this by any means, but I would suggest increasing your calories by 100 until you reach your maintenance. I tried increasing to what MFP recommends for me and I think it was too much of an increase too fast. I have been increasing my calories by 100 calories every 1-2 weeks and it seems to be working.…

Amazing job!!!

I am between 11.5 and 12. Depends on my distance and where I am running. I try not to worry what others think about me being a "slow" runner as I feel like it is better than not running at all. :)

It is the only workout I don't mind doing and a great way to get extra calories back! Also, I like the results I get from running. Once I started to run I notice I started to tone which is what kickstarted my commitment to MFP.

M/F? Female Age? 38 (37 when I started) Height? 5'3 Start weight? 138 Goal weight? 119 Time it took? 12 months Allotted daily calories? 1200 (went over a couple of times a week) Did your allotted calories change with loss? You look amazing!!! Happy 1 year of logging!!

I think it would be incredibly difficult to be on MFP without being able to splurge every now and then. Try not to feel so guilty and be proud that you have made the decision to eat better. I have been logging for 1 year and I look at this as a life style change rather than a restricted diet. You deserve to eat things you…

Tauny78 - w6d1 was my worst day so far!! I am now on w8d1 and although every run is a struggle, it is getting a little easier! I actually kind of look forward to going now. Ican't even believe I said that since I never ran in my life before starting c25k. Your next run will be better! Hang in there. Will be doing my first…

Congrats!!! I am signed up for my 1st 5K in July and like you, 6 weeks ago I wasn't jogging either. I am nervous that I won't be able to make it without having to walk. Thanks for posting and job well done!! :)

Wow! You all look great!! Keep up the good work!

I have been going first thing in the morning before I have time to eat because of my work schedule. I wonder if this will become a problem as my runs get longer and more challenging?? It is hard to figure out all of the do's and dont's to a successful run but either way I am sure I will have good days and bad days. Thanks…

Thank you!! I am glad to know I am not the only one struggling :) I don't feel like giving up but not nearly as motivated to do my next run. Maybe it will be better next time! Thank you for replying and good luck to everyone!

I just finished W5D3 today which was a 20 minute run without intervals and I did it without stopping! I never thought I would be able to do it, but I did! Just keep going. Like Bigpelly8 said, if you need to repeat go ahead but still give it a try because you might surprise yourself. I know I did. Keep up the good work and…
