I experience the same thing when visiting my family. First there's the stress, which makes you want to eat more. Then, all they've got is junk food, which is always soooooo tempting. Hang in there.

Friend request sent! I'm a 40 year old dad, and I've got to say the best thing I did was get my kids involved with my weight loss program. They think it's fun, they get to play more with you, and they never, ever, let you eat more than you should.

Welcome. You definitely don't look like you need to lose 97 pounds! We're all here to help support and encourage you though. Feel free to add me.

Have you ever tried walking a dog? It might be as effective as the Maple Syrup Diet. =) Seriously, if you want someone who offers encouragement and doesn't stay silent, add me as a friend.

Welcome, and good luck! I don't think 194 calories are too much for breakfast. I usually try to eat between 300 and 400. Don't be a afraid to eat. It's good for you. Just make sure you eat the right things. Granola with plain yogurt is perfect for breakfast! Maybe some fruit? I can't wait to hear your success story.

I'm not a future bride or anything, but this post reminded me of my wedding day - seeing my bride walk up the aisle and the way my heart leapt into my throat. It was a feeling like no other. I'm sure your future husband will have a similar experience. Good luck!

Hi. I'm always looking for encouragement and looking to encourage. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

Welcome. I experienced the same thing. My trainer told me that running is better for keeping the weight down - that lifting weights tones the body, but builds more muscle mass which weighs more. So if you lift a lot, you'll gain a little weight, but still look great. Weight-lifting doesn't help with losing weight as much…
