  • I found it interesting that as you increase calories after a restrictive diet, you only have to hold for one week before analyzing results- I would have thought 3 to 4 weeks would be necessary.

  • Where are you searching? Go to the Food tab, click Add Food under the meal you want to add it to, type "apple" into the search bar and you'll get dozens of options. Or if you just want to search the database, go tot he Food tab, Database sub heading, search there. It's pretty easy.
  • Don't try to listen to the podcast through the Nike + app, just play it through the music player on your phone. I start my running app, then I push the "home" button and go to the music player and select what I want to listen to from there. You'll hear the running prompts over the music/podcast.
  • I calculated the distance I went and divided by a half hour, so it translated, for me, to 3.5 mph, which is "walking, brisk pace."
