Is the topic a questions or a statement? I DONT GET IT.

If you love it, get the top in whatever size fits up top, and get thee to a tailor. Also, story of my life.

This was like 10lbs ago. I'm basically a spoon :)

She was going to, but didn't :ohwell:

Not shaming. Well, not fat-shaming. Fit shaming maybe? Seriously though, if you see a B/A picture of someone's weightloss, it is because that person felt damn proud of themselves (Pride is the opposite of shame, wow!) and their achievement of developing a body they feel healthy and comfortable in - who are you to say that…

Amen. You really shouldn't have to defend yourself for sharing a personal story, of all things, dear lord.

eyeroll.gif Really, 'boundaries' on an internet forum? She didn't divulge and contact information, so it would be best for you to scroll on like the rest of us when you come to a tl;dr post...

105#, 5x5. Kind of pathetic considering how long I've been at it and my weight, but I'm forcing myself to work up super slowly with my resistance because of chronic back and hip problems.

Raquel Welch's fit hourglass, with a little more leg and glute bulk/definition, please and thanx :)

Don't rely on this to be true, hot chocolate can be potent with calories from sugar.

I agree with that it's not a great idea because I was findiing that when I fit into a piece of clothing I bought too small at first, the cut was all wrong. But my body is fussy when it comes to fitting into clothes. However if it's at a great price, why not!

I personally hate working out when I'm sleep deprived. Sometimes I still do it, but it feels pointless. I only take it easy on day 1 of Shark Week because that's when I feel super weak and crampy. I'm a big baby and don't like working out when my energy is really low. So there you have it.

I also have SI joint and hip and lower back problems. I started heavy lifting last year, and also did Zumba. My chiro advised me against doing heavy squats and deadlifts, so I lightened my load and took it really slow for a number of months. Still had problems. Then I decided to cut out Zumba for a bit and concentrate on…

I'll translate: "Enough. Enough. Enough. Enough. Enough" - a bunch of cool women.

On appearance yes, I don't really hang around fake grovelling *kitten* so I have no reason not to. On my work? No :(

Best: "You look really good" ^ That is the safest compliment you can give someone who is losing weight. Not 'you look better', 'you look like you've lost 20 lbs' etc. No one can twist around "you look really good" from a positive observation into a negative crticism, it just can't be done lol.

Almost a small bale of hay. I'm imagining the looks I'd get if I told people that.

bumping this because I could eat Daal every day, mm mm good!

I find your perspective really, REALLY sad. Yes of course looks matter in our society at large, but not getting a job because you're 20lbs overweight compared to another candidate doesn't mean you're 'not taking responsibility for your own life'. You can recognize that society has a bias towards attractive people AND that…

I guess if you enjoy feeling endless disappointment with yourself, nothing's wrong with it.

It looks to me like the campaign originates with a model, yes? The fashion world is not like the real world when it comes to body image/sizing. Women who are above a US size 8 are considered 'plus size' in the fashion world. If this campaign was specifically protesting that being a size 0 was a requirement for getting…

YES. I find when I hit a new low weight on the scale, I tend to go on an eating spree, and following that is a long amount of time before I see that same low weight again (mostly due to the water weight from all da carbs, and my body probably going 'wtf' at a sudden inflation of calorie consumption). So my progress is…

I am one of those women, and I squat and deadlift heavy. Does this mean I'm set to look like reverse Popeye? It's true that the last place I will see a visual reduction of size is in my "problem area" of my hips and thighs (I hate that term btw, it's not a "problem" if it's in my ****ing genetics, thank you) and I may have…

Oh look, a group mocking mental illness. How funny and cute :indifferent:
