Thanks... And believe me it was hard for me to adjust to what I see in the mirror (and i see myself everyday). I can't even imagine what it must have been like for friends who haven't seen me in months :)
-
just not yet.... my plan is to push for the next two months and then I'm going to switch to eating more calories and doing more strength exercise... I have already started doing weight training during summer (6times a week... had a lot of free time :) ) and I added about 5-6 pounds of muscle but I cut down on going to gym…

I already posted my recent pictures to a thread so I might as well post them here.

I didn't want to post mine when opening this thread but what the heck... if they help anyone motivate themselves.... Before (112kg) Now (80 kg)

Yes I started lifting in summer, I was at the gym 6 times a week but right now I'm going to the gym 3 times a week. So yes I'm planing to gain muscle but it's really slow because I'm also trying to cut my BF under 13%.

Yes I do measure my waist and this morning it went down but I still can't help but notice that it's becoming more and more saggy... maybe I just wish my belly would look similar to my upper body which still doesn't look extraordinarily but sometimes I have to take a better look to see if it's really me in the mirror :D

I was one of those people too. I mean I would have done ANYTHING to loose weight BUT exercise (or eat less.... or drink less sodas... :D). But this is a matter of mind over body... and after all that time I don't even consider anything I have done as hard work... I never have said (and I hope I will never say) "Oh my it…

HOOOOOLY ****... I've been doing great on my progress but it's nothing compared to you.... :) how did you adjust to the loss? I mean I'm still thinking sometimes I'm fat and it's kinda weird (but extremely) great looking at myself in the mirror...

66 pounds = fats and oils an average American eats in a year...

I started january 12th and since then I managed to lose 60 pounds.... I've never been on a specific diet except for portion adjustment (I tried reducing sugar but NOT avoiding it). Tracking food with MFP helped me adjust my eating habits so that I didn't gain anything (actually I lost a pound) after two weeks of 0.... I…

:D :D :D :D I lost an elephants penis + a guinea pig :D :D :D

Thanks... I still need to get rid of my gut and then I will fell comfortable standing in front of the camera :)

I had to search for a longer time because I don't have any good after fat pictures because I it happend quite fast and I was more occupied with studying than taking pictures. Incidentally I don't have any "good" before skinny pictures either (they are all terrible because I'm in them and I'm fat) because I was ashamed of…

I started running pretty much at your weight.... It was hell, and I couldn't run for more than 3 minutes. And after those 3 minutes I couldn't really continue. But with time I got better and now I can go for about 30 minutes without stopping. It could be better but I don't really like running so I use it only as an…

Yeah I know... I'm pretty happy ever since I can go up a flight of stairs without sweating like a pig and berthing heavily but as you can see on my "hairstyle" :D I took it in the morning and I really hate mornings... :D Well in the past few weeks I didn't stick to my exercise plan and I didn't loose too much but my belly…

Take a new profile/passport/CV picture and keep on going... (either set a new goal or just maintain)
-
Well I know this might start some kind of flamewar with that but as I said it's my opinion.... I'm not forcing it on anybody and I'm willing to accept anyones opinion as long as it isn't stated with hostility....

Well the problem with diet foods that I see is that fat is the carier of taste so that's why diet and non-fat food tastes worse than regular and to keep at least some taste preserved the companies usually add sugar (not always but some products might have 50% less fat but they have lot more sugar) but otherwise than that…

Well I thought so but last time I had a moral dilemma because I kinda overshot my goal for the day and I had to choose whether to count it on that day and come down to my daily goal or count it for the next day when I knew I wouldn't get any exercise... Thinking about it now I see that this was a massively stupid…

With NSV's it doesn't matter what other's think about it... NSV's are your personal victories and you should be proud that you achieved them... Keep up the good work...

Well done, I'm kinda jealous because it's going to take me about 6-7 weeks to hit 200lbs. Haven't been there a in a loooooong time as well so I can't wait... Great job, keep it up...

I was the same... first time in a long time I stepped on the scale I thought I could die of shame right there (even though no one else else was in there). Now 3 months later I'm in the overweight range (not proud of it) feeling and looking a lot better and now I can't wait to reach a healthy weight.

After getting my own car when I turned 18 I started to drive everywhere partially because I love driving and I had much more time when I didn't have to wait for the bus and then spend ages in it on my way to town. This caused that over the years since, my already near 0 physical activity went even lower and I started to…

That's completely true.... nearly no one told me that I lost weight until the conversation somehow got to it.... BTW just a little tip. Show a little more confidence... you wrote that you were embarrassed when the man asked you, that's not the right attitude... You lost 20 pounds it obviously shows, you worked hard on it…

Great job, I myself am about 3 weeks away form 100 days but I can now tell you don't stop... in another 100 days you'll definitely feel and look even better and this is going to continue until you reach your goal.
-
Great post, thanks. When I was starting with my weight loss I was concerned that I would loose more muscle than fat.... and the first few weeks it seemed like that because I was loosing weight according to my scale but I didn't lose an inch from my waist. After that the numbers finally started adding up and now nearly 3…

I wanted to thank everyone for support.... I've been on a few forums (not weight loss related) but everywhere it has been a flame after flame and this is the only one where a person can feel appreciated.... Thanks again

wow... can't believe that it's only 37 pounds.... definitely keep up the good work... it's worth it ;)

Well It was pretty steady. I just had few unexpected and unexplained jumps in weight (in the down direction of course). Yes there is one bigger pool but right now it's closed for reconstruction and that's the reason the smaller one is nearly always full. In the evening it's possible but as I said there are so many other…
